lagos belongs to different set of people,first was the awori who happens to be the first settlers in lagos,then comes the benins who conquered the aworis (idejos) and started the present monarchiacal system,then came the freed slaves from euorpe and america who settles in some designated part of the island after this was the infusion of some other tribes in nigeria.Historically speaking the first settler are the owner of the land,this automatically makes the awori the owner of lagos. 2 Likes |
