Please how do you calculate/know the quantity of materials (cement, sand, granite, iron...) to be used for raft foundation for fence.

Firstly
Determine the length, width and height of the raft work that you want to cast, then calculate it's cubic meter, then Determine the grade of concrete you want, like 20, 25 etc. That depends on the ratio of concrete to use, then you can bring it out.

If is the 50ft x 19ft that you send o at 3 courses, you only need 400 blocks (I.e +5% wastage)

if the area is not secured for try fixing the wire, do the pop and wiring and fittings can be done once you want to pack it

Also consider the height of the roof.
If is mono-pitch room design, you must do the wiring

My mum have been speaking with him because I'm currently not in the country. I will be returning soon to discuss extensively with him and negotiate. So I want to be armed with enough information before going into the discussion as I will not be in the country during the renovation. Please find attached the old model of the building ( the ground floor is the same as first floor ) and the new model (few changes were made verbally to change the 4 bdrm flat to 3 bdrm flat and a room and parlor self contain ). I appreciate your and everyone else's input
