Phraences: But putting your uncle as your baby daddy on birth certificate because passport office were insisting is already a lie.
So the Visa people are going by what is on the birth certificate that the uncle is the father and not your claim that he is your uncle.
I guess in the past women have tried to abscond with children without consent of the father.
You need to go and regularize your child’s birth information whether through court or however. thanks 🙏 |

giselle237: You are not listening.. You have a father on the child’s birth certificate. UKVI can not take your word that the person is not truly the child’s father. What is hard to comprehend? By the birth certificate the father of the child is alive and therefore the child can not become a dependent of your husband on his skilled worker visa. Whether you are now saying the name or the person is your uncle is now late and can not be substantiated by them without proof. After all you provided a birth certificate with this person’s name as the father. This is a great anomaly You need to correct this information with PROOF and to further substantiate your claim that you are the only parent the child knows and has ever known, you need a COURT ORDER! This is the last time I will speak on this as you are not listening. |

Cashmadam: Hello. Did you not lie that your Uncle is your child's father? You admitted that yourself.
If you need help, then you need to be honest with yourself and the people you are asking for help.
By the way, this issue is going to be long so best you retain that Lawyer.....
My daugher is a Lawyer in the UK. If you need her help to verify anything your Lawyer tells you, let me know. I will ask her on your behalf.
Good luck! OK please do..but like I said earlier my uncle stood has a father for my daughter when she wanted to obtain her passport...there's nothing to lie about...because my mom and my uncle are barein the same surname...i decided to use the name seems my mom insisted.... |

giselle237: You need a lawyer to go about this. Preferably someone not out to fleece you as this is a straightforward case if the father has been an absentee even pre-delivery. The lawyer would know how to approach the court and start the application to be able to obtain a TRUE and LEGAL sole responsibility order awarded to you. Also get official written statements from the child’s school teachers, child’s doctors, parents of child’s friends to state one thing that you are the only parent they have known and where possible to prove that you are the one that has single handedly paid all medical, feeding, school bills etc This is in addition to every other advice written from others. did that already

giselle237: UKVI tells everyone they can apply for administrative review. This is not unique to your case. Also you didn’t submit any proof to UKVI. You submitted affidavit.. what role does affidavit have in this serious situation? so what do you advise me to do now, apply for another one |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Eliezer28: 7:49pm On Aug 14, 2024 |
Cashmadam: That Lawyer wants to eat your money.
Administrative review works when the visa officer made a mistake and you can prove it.
In your case, you lied and you were caught. What is there to review?
Trust me, you will just waste time and money. Anyway, Lawyer needs your money so he or she will tell you what you want to hear. I didn't lie about anything....i gave them the prove dey need....and ukvi also said i can apply for administrative review |

giselle237: Court order is not done in one day. It involves applying to the court and for court proceedings and all before it is granted. You are praying the court to grant you SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of your daughter where can I do the court order |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Eliezer28: 3:23pm On Aug 14, 2024 |
giselle237: This is sworn affidavit. This is not a COURT ORDER!!! Please really oh my God the person handling my application is just confusing some one, should I appeal or reapply.can I add dna test with the court order too |

giselle237: Hello!!! This is tough for any mother. However by law, this child can not be a dependent of your husband under the skilled worker visa just because you say. Court affidavit is what you say and can not be proven, they are asking for court order of sole responsibility. This is not same thing. Please if you can not get a court ORDER granting you sole custody she won’t be allowed to travel. This is already complicated as it is. If you can get a custody order granted by a Judge that you have been her only parent and a DNA test showing that her uncle is not her biological father but was only a front and a mistake you made as you were told her birth certificate has to carry a man’s name. Explain it in some way at least that can make sense. In the meantime do not reapply as you have to put all your thoughts and the most important information which is a COURT ORDER document and not affidavit. She will need to be cared for by your mom in Nigeria as she will not get the visa as a dependent to a man who is not her father unless they can understand the true circumstances of her BIOLOGICAL father as well as be sure of what you are saying. Let tomorrow someone not appear to sue them that they aided and abetted child trafficking. can I appeal with DNA test to prove my uncle is not the biological father |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Eliezer28: 11:26am On Aug 14, 2024 |
giselle237: In what world would an uncle appear as the father on a child’s birth certificate? Not even grandfather… you said uncle. Never ever heard of this. Your child has a biological father and as long as the father is not travelling and you have not provided a court order saying you have sole custody of the child, what really do you want them to do? Her sister was granted. Is her sister not the biological child of you and your husband? Is this index child your husband’s biological child? No. So please provide sole custody order granted to you or the death certificate of her biological father or DNA test proving her uncle is her father.. Already you have given them 2 different tales in the previous applications, I would tread lightly if I were you with further lies. You have also been saying on this thread that they have been delaying… this is a very complicated issue as you further went onto complicate it with untruths and my guess is that they were doing further checks.
They need the truth. That is all. Have done court afridavit already....this issue was not from me...it was the person that help me out with the application...why I was pregnant of her,my boyfriend rejected the pregnancy..so my mum then insisted that I use her surname for my child.after she was born I wanted to get a passport for her,at the passport office they insist that they need her father passport or birth certificate...that was when my uncle came in,which he his my mums brother...so I gave birth to my second child to the guy I got married to now.... |

Application and biometric- 11/7/2024 Tls dispatch mail 1/8/2024 Received passport- 5/8/2024 Visa commences-10/8/2024
Thank you to those that take time to contribute here it goes a long way. God bless you all did you receive email from ukvi that your decision has been successful |
