Business[must Read] 10 Tips For Becoming A Successful Entrepreneur! by Elite01(op): 10:44pm On Mar 13, 2017
As an entrepreneur, your ultimate goal is to take a business from zero to hero. For most of us, this doesn’t happen overnight. Typically, there will be trial and error as you wade through what will make your business successful.
However, there are certain characteristics that can help you navigate your way to the top.

1. Position yourself as a leader. Entrepreneurs lead the way. But positioning yourself as a leader is not just about having the right answers – odds are you won't have the right ones in every situation. It’s more about knowing where to find the answers. You’ll have to make a lot of tough decisions in your new line of duty, so you need to have confidence in the decisions you make on a day-to-day basis.

2. Be open-minded. Know when to say “when.” Your idea of what’s right may actually be wrong. Be open to other suggestions and ideas. Remember, your business is actually not about you. It’s about delivering a good product to your customers and doing whatever it takes to ensure that your customers turn into repeat customers. In other words, be ready to embrace fresh ideas, even if they go counter to your own beliefs.

3. Deliver value — not just quick profit. Ensure your company delivers real value to clients. Successful entrepreneurs are in it for the long haul. They are not after a get-rich-quick scheme. Ensure your business provides services and sell products that actually deliver a substantially better result for your customers.

4. Build long-term relationships. Relationships matter. People do business with companies they know, like and trust. Furthermore, while it's tempting to stay on the hunt for new customers, your existing customers are your best source of repeat business and your most profitable customers. To win their loyalty, you must nurture a relationship with them.

5. Seek new ideas — especially beyond your industry. Don’t focus solely on your industry as a source of novel ideas. Think outside the box, venture in uncharted territory and expand your intellectual scope. For example, the drive-through concept commonly found in fast food was an idea borrowed from bankers.

6. Inspire your team. Give people a reason to be excited to work for your company. Make it your goal to help them succeed in their job. They will stick by your side if you stick by them. Inspire. Invest. Repeat.

7. Go all in. Inclusiveness should be integral to your commercial aspiration. Make the notion of “together we're better” the operational fulcrum around which you build your business. You’re more likely to thrive if people view you as an entrepreneur who understands 1+1 is much more powerful than just 1.

8. Know what your clients really want. The purpose of business is to bring your clients a greater benefit, a greater advantage and a greater result. But if you don't know what their ultimate endpoint should be, than how can you help them? Don't assume you know the answer. Study their actions and talk with them to find out how you can become their hero.

9. Look for results, not reasons. Like Marshall Thurber, one of America's successful business man would Say: "There are reasons and there are results, the only thing that matters is the results."
Reasons are full of emotional biasses and are often wrong. Rather than guiding your business on the back end of assumptions, build it on data.

10. Innovate, innovate and (ALWAYS) innovate! Make sure your company wins the innovation game. Introduce fresh products, ideas, services, new ways of doing — not for the sake of just coming up with something "new," but to anticipate what else you can do to help your customers achieve a greater result.

Career[must Read] Top 10 Reasons Why People Don’t Reach Their Goals By Emeka Elite by Elite01(op): 5:59pm On Mar 05, 2017
Nigerian entrepreneur and CEO of Greenlandnaija Media, Emeka Obi who is also referred to as Emeka Elite took to his Facebook page to share the top ten reasons why most people don't get to achieve or reach their goals.
You'll find this piece very useful and helpful!
[br/]
With everything that happens around us, it is sometimes difficult to reach our goals. This is compounded if you have any of the reasons on the list below. Luckily, in addition to the top 10 reasons why people don't reach their goals, I’ve included a quick fix for each of them. So let’s get to it.
1. Creating Vague Goals
When you don’t know where you are going, it is really hard to get there. Many people set themselves up for failure when they set goals that are unclear. “I want to lose weight” sounds like a great goal but the people who set this kind of goal will never reach it. It is not because the people are not motivated or disciplined but because the goal is too general. Do you want to lose 5 lbs or 50lbs?
Quick Fix: Set SMART goals by being Specific, making sure they are Measurable, Achievable and Realistic, and last but not least — give yourself a Time deadline.
[br/]
2. Lacking a Higher Purpose
Goals can be set on any topic imaginable but if you don’t have a higher propose, it makes it is easy to give up once the initial motivation and excitement wears off.
Understanding how your goal is relevant to you allows you to persevere even when the going gets tough.
Quick Fix: When setting your SMART goal, ask yourself how the goal is relevancy to your life and what you want to achieve.
[br/]
3. Procrastinating
Even when you have SMART goals that are relevant to your purpose, if you don't get started, you’ll never achieve your goal. One of the most dangerous phrase's is “I’ll do it later.”
Quick Fix: Make sure the goal has been broken down into manageable pieces and then start right away.
[br/]
4. Not Taking Responsibility
Things will go wrong. That’s a fact of life. When something comes up and you don't achieve your goal, who do you blame? Your boss who kept you at work late so you couldn’t work on your book or maybe the horrible weather that's topped you from going to the gym. If it’s not your fault, there is nothing you can do, right?
Quick Fix: Own up to not reaching your goals. When you take responsibility, you’ll become resourceful knowing that you have control over the attainment of your goals.
[br/]
5. Listening to People Who Discourage You
When you go for your goals, especially the big ones that really count and fit in with your purpose in life, it is inevitable that people will discourage you. There are many reasons for this: concern, jealousy, ignorance, etc. How many goals have already been given up on because other people decided they were not worth pursuing?
Quick Fix: This one is easy. As long as you know the purpose for your goal, ignore the naysayers. You can take what they are saying into consideration but make sure you make the final choice.
[br/]
6. Starting Too Many Projects
I’m a starter. That sounds like a good thing but not when you start too many things, you don’t end up finishing many of them. This usually stems from the fear of missing out (FOMO) or being someone who has many ideas.
Quick Fix: Understand that you have a limited amount of time and that you can't do everything. To deal with FOMO, realize that by not finishing, you are missing out on all the opportunities that open up when you finish the projects you are working on.
[br/]
7. Being Negative
If you think you’re not going to make it, then you’re probably not going to make it. If you don’t believe you’re going to reach your goal, then when you fail, it is expected which makes it easy to stop trying. When you are optimistic and a setback occurs, you focus your energy on finding solutions because you truly believe there is one.
Quick Fix: Consider the idea that optimism and pessimism are both expectations of the future. Each are equally likely to be true but which belief will help you lead a happier more fulfilled life? Instead of wasting your energy on complaining, spend that energy on learning.
[br/]
8. Being Selfish
There are people out there that think it is silly to help others. They believe in taking and not giving. They are misers with their time, money and knowledge and are only interested in opportunities where they stand to benefit. Most big goals require the help of others and it is very difficult to help people who only care about taking..
Quick Fix: Serve others first. Always look for ways to add value to other people.
[br/]
9. Surrounding Yourself with People Who Don’t Reach Their Goals
You are who you associate with. This may be hard to swallow for some people and there are always exceptions to the rule but for the most part, we act in accordance with the people around us. This comes from the strong and natural desire to belong and to be accepted (think of all the dumb things you did in high school just to fit in).
Quick Fix: Associate with people who always reach their goals.
[br/]
10. Watching Too Much TV
Not all TV is bad but if you are watching TV then most likely you are not doing anything to move one step closer to your goal. The problem with TV these days is that it is captivating. There are programs for all interests and hobbies and the shows keep getting better and better. Those who watch a lot of TV usually don’t reach their goals and perhaps people watch TV because they don’t have any goals.
Quick Fix: Shut off the TV. Cancel the cable. Pick up a book that will help you move one step closer to your goal.

Webmasters6 Reasons Why You’re Not Making Any Money Online Yet by Elite01(op):
Wondering Why You Haven’t Made Any Money Online? – Read On!

Although it is possible to make money online, a lot of bloggers or small business owners fail to do so. What usually happens is that they try for a couple of months without getting any decent results, they get disappointed and they quit.

The main reason of not making money online is because you think is easy and when you realise that it is a lot of work, you get bored and give up.

I’ve been working online for 7 years (since 2010) and based on my experience I can assure you that it is possible to make money online but it also requires a LOT of patience and hard work.

I am going to reveal some cool ideas on “ how to make money online ” as we get close to the future , but for now let’s see why you are yet to make a dime online.

1. You don’t get enough traffic to your website or blog:
To make money you need traffic, this is how the online business model works. If you are selling a high converting product you can make money with only a few visitors per day but if you want to make money from advertising you need a few thousands per day. Without traffic do not expect to make any money online.
When we talk about traffic, in the minds of many people Google is the only way but this is not true. There are many sources of Internet traffic you can use to meet your monetary targets but you need to know where to find them. In my next post I will be revealing the best of many untapped sources of traffic you can utilize to boost your website or your online business – Just get YOUR eyes fixed on my wall!

2. Your website/blog is too young:
Don’t believe in everything you read about making money online. There is no magic way to make thousands in a few months and there is no magic way to make money without doing a lot of hard work. This also means that if you just started a website or blog you will not make money any time soon unless of course you created an exceptional product or website.
From my experience you need at least one year (usually more) of hard work before making any decent amount of money either from AdSense, affiliate programs or through selling your own product.

3. You don’t practice good SEO:
SEO is important for many reasons and if you believe that you can succeed online without following good SEO practices then you are wrong. Everything starts with SEO and I am not referring only to keyword analysis or content marketing but to the bigger picture which includes understanding your customers and using SEO to give them what they want.
The majority of webmasters still make mistakes with SEO despite the plethora of information about proven techniques that work.

4. You are not patient enough:
They say that ‘patience is a virtue’ and when it comes to working online and expecting to make money from it, is more than true. To help you understand how important is to be patient, take into account the following examples:
*.It may take 3-4 months before you start getting any organic traffic from Google or Bing
*.It may take a few months until you build a decent number of Facebook and twitter followers
*.It may take months until you get your first RSS subscriber or comment in your blog
The bottom line is that you need to aim for long term success and forget about any short term temporary results.

5. You always want it FREE:
Most interPRENEURS especially the ones who are just starting out are not ready to spend at any cost to get what they want. If you know you fall in this category or you posses the habit of searching for “ how to make money online without investment or paying anything ” I would advise you abort it NOW if you want to experience a taste of change in your online career. That's to say, SPEND to get what you want – Don't be a parasite!

6. You created your blog/website for the sole purpose of making money online:
Creating a website for the sole purpose of making money online is a thing of the past.
Some years ago you could create a number of blogger sites, publish a few posts, build tens of incoming links and make money through Adsense, Amazon affiliate stores or other affiliate promotions. It was a model that worked for a couple of years and some people who were clever and fast enough to understand this, made enough money. This model does no longer work.
You cannot start a website for the sole purpose of adding Adsense or promoting a particular product or anything similar to this. Your website or blog needs to have a purpose which goes beyond making money. You need to create something that adds value to the user by offering good content, free services and incentives for the user to come and visit your web site again and again.
When you do that persistently fora number of months, money will follow. I know that it is difficult to understand this especially if you are a beginner to the online world, but take my word for it there are no shortcuts or overnight tricks.
