In Oyo State, there is a law that criminalizes non-payment of neighbourhood community security levy. It comes with prison terms. I was shocked when I was shown this by my lawyer. I had earlier had an argument with a dishonest fellow who was misappropriating the funds. You see, the government at various levels have long abandoned their responsibility to protect lives and property of common Nigerians. They even made it a law, and nobody is saying anything. 1 Like |

stuffs2002:I'm not disputing that. I'm saying it is improper and unethical coming from NIDCOM. a government body meant to ensure the exact opposite. I know a couple of cases where Chinese killed Nigerians on Nigerian soil. I have not caught any Chinese official saying "hol am well, na so he dey do." They look to get the fairest treatment possible for the offender in that circumstances. The talkative woman should leave partisan people and others to do the analysis of which state has the highest number of criminals abroad. She should leave NIDCOM otherwise 2 Likes |
