don't really know. someone has been asking me that question for a while now. If I didn't get any message. I was beginning to think maybe it wasn't just sent to my email that's why, I'm wondering if anyone got any message.

Please did anyone get any message on their email from AAU concerning eligibility or something like that.

Please note that the university management has not by any means released any departmental cutoff marks. Please debunk every rumour of any departmental cutoff mark you see on WhatsApp and Facebook.



“The management is still silent on admission matters for the 2016/2017 academic session and has not released any departmental cutoff marks in any of the departments. This was a statement made by the Vice Chancellor yesterday[Prof Ignatius Onimanwo]”



Also debunk the rumour that says no admission will be given to the departments listed below as regards the lost of accreditation.



Building, architecture, microbiology, biochemistry, etc.

Meanwhile the management is curently working out modalities through which cutoff marks will be released as soon as posible in all the departments.



The office of the S.U G Director of Information through the management will give you further information about admissions and other necessary information you may need, to process your admission.



Further more, I urge all aspirants to be careful and exercise patience as not to fall victim of fraudsters who releases phone numbers online, Either on WhatsApp or Facebook.



As soon as the cutoff mark is released It will be passed accross to everyone through Aau website and news bulletin.

seriously. I don't get this whole issue any longer. I once got a confirmation from two different students in d school n dey both said this same cut off has been out since last 3 weeks. now we got the same cut off proving to be out few days ago. only to get another info _ it's just a rumour. I don't get et. Wat are we to bliv...
I'm no more bothered about the cut off marks. God will make a way for us whether the cut off is higher or lower...

I think AAU is waiting for those with awaiting results because as it is now ,I don't see anything stoping them from releasing the CUTOFF or wah do you think ... it's not real ignore it. Bet if you won still know, dem write 59 for there

I don't think so. I called someone in the school to confirm if the cut off is out. N his answer was yes. maybe u should visit the school to check it out urself.

BEEN POSTED DESPITE MY JAMB SCORE.
please i have been going through some comments
in this site on JAMB ENABLES PORTAL FOR
ADMISSION CONSIDERATION. so reaching page 140
of those comments, one of the lads said
something that i pick and which made me to go
back and study that Jamb Admission guidelines
again. lets take a close look at the comment and
then try to compare it with Jamb Guideline. the
guy

NOW LETS TRY AND COMPARE IT WITH THE
GUIDELINE RELEASED BY JAMB.
Page 2 and No 8 of the guideline said:
consideration of the recommended list as
FORWARDED by Jamb should be completed within
one month from the date of receipt of the List.
Now in my own view i think that Jamb can only
recommend only the people that has 180 and
above and where are they going to forward to ?
they are going to forward it to the school. for
what? for admission consideration. which means
that there is every possibility of Jamb
forwarding everybody that scored 180 and above
to their schools, so when they reach they will be
screen(considered/checked)and don't even be
surprise if i'm posted on Jamb portal with 180 to
a less competitive course in uniben i might be
sent back by the school,REASON i didn't reach
the school cutoff of 200, because I'm being sent
there for ordinary screening and not to go and
collect my admission letter, please I'm not
wishing badluck to people with 180 posted to a
school that has a traditional cutoff like
UNILAG,BETTER BY FAR,GREAT IFE,UI etc. just
that this schools cannot compromise and
accommodate such person unless God's hand is
there.please get me right,if you crossed the
school minimum cutoff mark and your
department is less competitive needless to worry,
so you can go to the comments of JAMB ENABLES
PORTAL FOR ADMISSION CONSIDERATION. This means that everybody has
been posted to their school whether it shows on
Jamb portal or Not.

AAU Update JAMB Admission Posting Is Not The Same as Admission List or Admission Letter - Prof. Dibu . The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has stated that the recent list of candidates sent to tertiary institutions contains just the names of candidates who met the national cut-off point within the set criteria and hence qualified for screening in their respective institutions based on the institution's capacity and it's not in any way an admission list. . This was disclosed by the JAMB registrar Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, in a statement on Sunday. According to him, the admission list will only be made available after appropriate screening of candidates by the institutions. He equally added that all institutions that have need for more candidates can source from their omnibus printout earlier sent to them by the board in order to ensure that available spaces are adequately utilised. In an earlier statement on Saturday credited to the Deputy Director of Press and Public Relations in the Ministry of Education, Mr. Ben. Bem- Goong, it was stated that the role of JAMB is to conduct the UTME, compile the list of candidates whose scores meet the cut-off marks (180 and above) and send same to the universities. The institutions, will now shortlist the candidates, using the agreed guidelines and thereafter return the shortlisted candidates to JAMB for verification of compliance with the guidelines and issuance of JAMB admission letters.

another suggestion this just popped into ma head right now...... what if The grades were used critically as in B2 wasn't the same score with B3 or C4 want same with C5 or C6........... again I was just thinking

u made a good point. But I still don't think the SSCE was used. take for example, some one with 2 sitting. 1st one C4 n 2nd sitting B3 in biology . how would they grade that. is the C4 going to be taken or the B3. _just saying. still learning.

I also think dey use SSCE RESULT cos i hav 210 in my jamb and i was given 55.

I don't really fink they used d SSCE issue. Cux if that was d case. my score would be wae lower than 52. according to what I calculated earlier it was around 47. N it was 2 sitting. With some funny grades.

Nice, please permit me to say I'm more confused cause something is fishy here..

OSESUNATE had 279 , and he was given 64

KELVIN had 245 and was given 57( I saw his two results mah self)

I had 239 and was given 56

Two of mah friends with 234 both had 55( saw it with mah eyes too)

Two friends again had 231,233 and where given 55(also saw this with mah eyes)

Another friend with 230 had 54(saw this with mah korokoro eyes)
Just to mention bhu a few

The above candidates all applied for MBBS .. I was at college of Medicine yesterday and saw also so many other funny scores...

NOW, WHAT AM I TRYING TO SAY ?
From mah calculations , I've observed dha way dha scores where calculated and dhat was why ah asked you so many times and requested for a screen shot when you said you had 73... Even at college yesterday , a guy lied he had 74 only for us to find out it was a fat lie!
Another guy also lied he had 246 only for us to find out it was another fat lie (dha guy even had 206) just today, , this morning another guy lied he had 60 with 242 only for me to find out it was another fat lie after having access into his kofa account. Then it was then ah concluded dhat I must see it with mah eyes before believing

Lemme explain...
Ah think AAU didn't consider SSCE results (dhat is, they probably didn't follow dha point system).. They only used what I'll call UTME SCORE RANGE!!!!!!!
See clear illustration below and understand...
From dha above scores , you'll agree with me dhat Mah friends with 231 and 233 , 234, 234 all fell between dha same rang (1-5) and dhat was why dey all had 55...
Hope I'm making sense..?

Now, if you notice, I had 239 , ah fell withing dha second range (6-10) and probably dhat was why ah had 56(one mark ahead)

Now, Dr. KELVIN had 245 and fell in dha immediately range above me and dhat was why he had 57 (1-5)

Without been told, even before OSESUNATE told me he had 64, ah already made mah calculations and mah calculate arrived at 64...

Now, initial you said you had 245 and 73.. I requested for dha screen shot so as to get mah calculate correctly and now, you said twas a typographical error dhat it was 63..fine, if you had 63, with 245, how come Kelvin had 245 and 57? (who's getting me..??)
How come OSESUNATE had 279 and had 64?
Do nad tell me oo level was used cause it wasn't.. One of dha guys with 55 points above used two SSCE with low grades (c's) bhu had 55points too (is any one catching mah flow here) ??
NOTE Please , I'm nad in anyway saying you're nad telling dha truth bhu we need proof so as to understand cause you can't tell me someone with 279 and had 64 is a fool and you had 245 with 63.. So please , throw more light or better still, we need clear screen shots so we can understand this whole saga very well

I was almost falling for your statistics until some one made mention of having 55 for a jamb score 210, while i had 53 for a jamb score 218. U might be right but it could be possible that some other things were looked out for.
