like i said, my friend too suffered from this before she died. She was only 17 years old. And i know the pain and guilt that her parents suffered for so many years.

A friend on Palmchat is in a diliemma. He is about o get married to a girl that has the same Genotype with him(AS). He says that there is a certain prophet whom he visited and paid money to for revelation from God assured him that the union has been ordained by God. He seems to be so in love now but when the trouble of having a sickle cell(SS) child sets in, all of the love will fade away and be replaced with regret and guilt. I have been trying my best to talk him out of making this mistake, as i have a first hand experience of being around a sickle cell anemia friend who has now lost her life in this battle. I also told him that it was possible that the prophet was a fake, but he has refused to listen to me. So i decided to bring this matter here, this is my opinion though. Am i just being paranoid or is he truly making the biggest mistake of his life. Please i need your opinion as it can influence his or my decision.

Yesterday i made a post on the recent kidnap in Ishawo Ikorodu by the Niger Delta Avengers. The good news is that the children have been found and are safe with their parents, the bad news on the other hand is that there seem to be a conspiracy between the NDA and the Nigerian Army that were sent to ensure security in the area. I got this information from an undisclosed fellow PALMCHAT user. He said that the parents were first told to pay a ransom of 10million naira. Then the parents of the children were advised by some people in the area to go beg the Nigerian Army securing the place with a sum of 20,000 naira and the children will be returned immediately. This happened yesterday morning. I got a call late last night that the kids have been found and were safe with their parents. I don't mean to be judgmental but i see a conspiracy here. What do you think?

The Niger Delta Avengers attacked again last night in the Ishawo area of Ikorodu. Two children were kidnapped, while they shot sporadically for more than 30mins. The Police were contacted while this was going on, but as usual they did not arrive until 4 hours after the NDA had left. This is really sad and embarassing. Our security officers(police) will not cease to disappoint us, as they have displayed their incompetence one million and one times. Governor Ambode please take note and do something, because Ikorodu is becoming scarier by the day ooooo!!!!. This for all those who live in Ikorodu, you need to triple your security consciousness now more than ever. You can get more news like this on Palmchat.
