fortunead: Good afternoon house Please what kind of file are we to put our documents into when going for the interview? just put them in a brown envelope. Don’t stress about the file. Your documents will still be arranged at the gate and pinned together. |

OluwaTofunmiiii: Haaa, why please? Is the normal print out that just carry your grades and school name or the coloured own that carry picture that we pay 7k for on WAEC portal? just know if it was gotten from the waec portal it won’t be accepted. You have to get it from your secondary school or waec office. I think on that one the picture isn’t coloured. That’s the original one |

Konphido: Yes, You need to go with your Transcripts, those were part of the documents you used to secure your university admission.
For the IELTS, If your school asked that you provide an English proficiency letter to prove that your previous studies was done in English, and they accepted it, and gave you admission, You can take that document to the embassy too.. thank you so much |

VicUkegbu: Happy Easter everyone 🙂
I am preparing for study visa interview and I have a conflicting information regarding documents to take while going.
Below are two images; The first one is from the consular portal before booking the appointment. The second is from the email confirmation after booking the appointment.
1. I would like to know which instruction to follow.
2. I would also like to know how to get a prepaid courier service envelope (DHL) in lagos. Do I buy and take it there or can I buy it there?
3. Lastly, can I do a cash transfer for the visa processing fee or do I pay with cash there?
Thanks alot. I expect your insightful feedbacks. As for The prepaid envelop you can buy and take it there. That’s the only answer I can give to your questions I don’t know about the other ones |

Aura4aura: I want to thank everybody in this group for both informations that were passed here and words of motivation. I got my visa and I am so happy. The process was a hard one but it ended well. So I am here to encourage others to keep going and to also detail my experience as somebody can learn a thing or two from it. My first interview was scheduled for March 18th but by then I didn’t have block account confirmation. I sent an email to reschedule but I got no response. So on the interview date, I went there with the bank deposit slip and I was told I couldn’t be interviewed. I explained to them that I had already sent an email to reschedule but I got no reply. I was told to wait for a minute. The lady finally came back and told me that they just saw my email and I am lucky I did sent the email I will be rescheduled. I was rescheduled for may 8th and by then I had my block account confirmation. During the interview I was asked repeatedly what course I was applying for and why was I choosing Germany over an English speaking country. Then I was giving 5 economics questions and 5 mathematics questions to answer and that was it. I was asked when I intend to travel as well. I was called on the 14TH if I wanted to come pick up myself or if they should use my courier envelope. I decided to go pick up on the 15th and my visa was granted. Apart from Paulinus making things difficult, it was an easy process Big Congratulations 🎉 |
