diggz:
Israel’s envoy to the UN claims that their attack on Iran was an act of national preservation. But I still remember when Israel, alongside the U.S., justified the invasion of Iraq by saying it would bring lasting peace to the Middle East.

So, by that logic, is Nigeria also free to attack the U.S., the U.K., or any other country as an act of “national preservation”?
I honestly don’t understand this kind of reasoning.
At this point, I’m truly astonished.
Let’s be honest your comparison doesn’t hold water. Has the U.S., the U.K., or any of those countries ever publicly declared intentions to wipe Nigeria off the map? Have they openly funded armed groups that launch repeated attacks on Nigerian soil?

That’s the key difference.
Israel isn’t responding to vague threats at all. it’s responding to decades of open hostility, direct attacks, and consistent rocket fire from groups that are publicly supported and funded by Iran. When a nation faces existential threats, the calculus changes. It’s not about aggression; it’s about survival.

Self-defense isn't the same as unwarranted aggression especially when the threats are real, documented, and ongoing.

He gave 60 days to make a deal, and then gave Israel the go ahead to strike

So this is how peace should come, right?

I don't understand the need to watch this as a movie. These are people's lives wasting per second.

How can giving the approval the strike be the path to peace?[/color]
I hear your concern and it is absolutely valid. But let’s not confuse the sequence of events. The 60-day window was meant to allow for diplomacy. Iran’s proxies continued provocations, and Israel made it clear that inaction wasn’t an option.

The U.S. didn’t “approve” violence as you're implying, it acknowledged Israel’s right to self-defense after repeated threats and attacks. Sometimes peace doesn’t come from silence or delay, but from deterrence.

Nobody wants war, but ignoring sustained aggression doesn’t produce peace either, it just invites more chaos.

He crosses better than all our wingers bro. I can stake my neck on that.

Rashford rarely crosses from the left (he prefers shooting). His crossing from the right is hit-and-miss.

Antony’s crosses are often too close to the keeper. Sancho has difficulty even getting space to produce a cross.

Early days for Garnacho so won’t say nothing.

Gakpo’s crosses have good height and whip on them. Even on a bad day, those are standout attributes.
E be like your head don tire you....
