Looks like Pst Adeboye actually endorsed Tinubu. I respect it though, it's his choice.

MorataFC: I don't think you understand the question I was responding to.
The over 1 million people who were at the camp ground or watched the programme online already know what Pastor Adeboye said. The problem is with the over 200 million Nigerians who neither attended nor watched and therefore depend on the media for information. When the media fails to report such statements, it fails those people, leaving them uninformed and vulnerable to false narratives. As a result, the 1 million people who witnessed the statement firsthand end up arguing with the remaining 200 million Nigerians, who may see them as liars or overly defensive simply because the media failed to tell them. And my question is this, what if the media is deliberately shielding Tinubu by choosing not to amplify what Pst Adeboye actually told his congregation? By doing so, it creates the impression that Adeboye is supportive of the administration when, in reality, he may be quite critical of it. That’s the point I’m making. Media bias can also be about what is deliberately ignored or underreported. If critical comments are buried while favorable narratives are amplified, the public ends up with a distorted picture of where influential figures truly stand. Get my point now? |

chrisooblog: I blame Hollywood.
We've always had this vision of James Bond, Rambo, Mission Impossible type security forces or agents swooping in to save the day and kill all the bad guys whereas it's infinitely more complex in real life. No need to blame Hollywood chief cos those Hollywood people won't tolerate or accept this kind of docility from their leaders. They would have impeached or sent that leader packing since. No allow Dayo who's in Hollywood's America to bobo you, he's enjoying all the competence over there but defends incompetency back home. |

MorataFC:
You mean the Holy Ghost Service that is viewed and streamed by millions of people at home and abroad? So you didn't know it was streamed by millions of people when you were accusing the media of not amplifying what he said then? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ellexy: 5:19pm On Jun 04 |
MorataFC: I just posted a corresponding report on the issue. The statement was actually made last year, but the media failed to give it proper coverage because it did not fit the narrative they wanted to promote. Is it the Tinubu controlled media that you're referring to or the opposition led media cos I could argue they deliberately failed to amplify it so it won't make Tinubu look bad that Pst Adeboye is questioning his handling of insecurity. |

BlueRayDick: I don't know how true this is, but people on Twitter are speculating these are the demands of the kidnappers..
They are alleging point number actually involved the state assembly amending laws to accomodate the Fulani militia allocation of lands and Sharia law being introduced in the state.
PS: I don't know how true this is, but different accounts on Twitter are claiming they got the info from internal sources. The speaker corroborated that, it might not be far from the truth.

raumdeuter: How is Tinubu making it a political issue? The govt has been doing a lot to eliminate terrorists, everyday I see posts by amoto on terrorists being eiminated daily
Its true that insecurity has expanded, and getting worse, but what is also true is that govt is doing a lot to curb it Good question, he has come out to say opposition is trying to use insecurity to remove him from office and he'll do everything to win. Even with this insecurity, he's thinking politics same way Buhari said they wanted to remove him because of Endsars. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ellexy: 4:05pm On Jun 04 |
raumdeuter: That is a textbook and theoretical answer, in real life and real world, people negotiate with terrorists everyday
When Britany Griner was held in Russia for being in possession of a smoke vape to secure her release US had to negotiate with Russia and Russia demanded the release of a brutal arms dealer who has ben responsible for American death, America granted it. released the guy
When the Hamas terrorists captured Israeli party goers, to get them released Hamas demanded the release of all their convicted criminals in Israeli prison, some of these prisoners had killed Israelis and promised to kill more, Yet Israel granted their wish and released them to secure their hostage
The negotiation between Iran which is classified as a terrorist regime by the US will include granting some of Irans request including financial and other things
Imagine if any of these Oriire kids were the Speakers son or nephew, do you think he will negotiate or not?
America that sells the mantra "Don't negotiate with terrorists" do that on a regular basis. I have friends in the US army who have told me how many times they took Dollars in bags to unknown locations to "Shady people" to get things done, Later the govt will come out and tell you it was commando work The elephant you can't ignore is that insecurity has multiplied exponentially and expanded to new territories under Tinubu, that is real life. Tinubu's effort or the lack thereof has only emboldened terrorism and banditry, that is real life reality in 2026 Nigeria. The buck of this stops at his table as the GCFR, he should stop politicising this insecurity and do his primary job of securing lives and property of those he's leading. Negotiation or not, none of it is even working under him either to curb the problem or protecting the lives of citizens. |

raumdeuter: Why do you and blueraydick keep insisting that the FG did not send a representative for 2 weeks Yes the children are still in the bush because the security forces have not been able to find a way to extract the children without putting their lives at risk
I think th govt should negotiate with them, grant their demands to save the children first and can go after them later, Toda the Oyo state speaker spoke against negotiation with the terorists
/video/1 It's simple, because constant negotiation with terrorists and granting their requests keeps incentivising and enabling them. The stocks of banditry and kidnapping has never been higher than it is currently since Nigeria was founded and that is under your oga's watch. So bad that his region is under threat of being overrun by terrorists and you're here talking about negotiating with them. Yeah they should pay them and get ready to keep doing business with them.

What a shameless man. Or like when he also went to Benue for the same reason but never visited the location or the victims but turned the whole thing to campaign and had primary school pupils standing in the rain. He doesn't have empathy at all. |

raumdeuter: The bold is false. I have given you the truth but you just want to chase your own agenda still. The IGP was in the location 24hrs after the incident. This is a lie. The IGP never visited the location of the incident as you're trying to imply, however he went to Oyo state and was briefed. He never went to the community of the victims. And that is on brand just like Tinubu, who went to commiserate with the people of Plateau state but never even left the airport. |

raumdeuter: What is the substance of the matter. Without being tribalistic, Why is Adeboyes treatment different from that of Mbaka. They both committed the same crimes
Why was Tunde Onakoya dragged? The tribal eyeglass you are wearing has so much blocked your sight that you can't even see Pst Adeboye's dragging cuts across everyone. It's not a particular tribe like you're falsely painting. Both Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas etc frustrated Nigerians are calling him out for not being vocal as he use to be during past adminstrations especially as things have gotten out of hand. When Oyedepo and the likes of Enenche get constantly dragged by APC supporters, I don't see you crying of tribalism.. |
