Anytime my son's friends visit, they wreck the bathroom and I'm 100% sure they are not washing as fastidiously as you described as they are kids. Do you know that Oyinbo children mostly only bathe once per week pre puberty? And as children do, when they bathe, they will not scrub properly. Even my own children only bathe once every 2 days. So within that context, it's unhygienic.
