It was low from him.

Even after being told he was on orders, he should have respectfully climbed the guy to his superiors, rather than shouting like a Giri junction tout.
Lmao I remember one funny experience with one of them this year

People's hatred for wike is seriously clouding their judgement on this matter. It is wike today, it might be you tomorrow. You people are just doing the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
And your hatred for the military is not clouding your own judgement? Ehnn?

I am saying Wike was at the center of it because he is friends with th president who gave him full support. The same prsidential support can be used for this case
Yes Tinubu will get involved in land issue with Wike because he's jobless. Wike wanted Fubara removed and impeached outrightly, but he's still the governor today. Wike is not as powerful as you think he is.

If Wike had tried that as an LGA chairman, he would not have lived long enough to be governor or minister in this country.

He's only doing that now because he saw how young the officer was and was angry he could stand up to him. He probably thinks the officer may just be 4 to 5 years older than his first son.

I raise you that Wike as a chubby LGA chairman would dare not call a seargent a fool or even attempt to slap him.

As in the Wike in this attached picture will slap a military officer who has tasted war? 😂😂😂
See fresh and chubby Wike. Man has been in active politics without break since 1999. Omo

How did he an ex governor became at the center of it, which other non governor has that power?. All the power Wike has right now is because he is an ally of Tinubu. So if he can flex that presidential power in a State to remove an elected governor, why cant he use the same power with with an appointed soldier
What? Are you trying to say Wike wasn't at the centre of the Rivers crisis? Wike Vs Fubara........ shocked

Wike is a minister in the good books of the president, On his recommendation a State governor was suspended for an Administrator until the governor came to beg
Again not the same issue. He was involved in the Rivers matter because he's at the centre of it. Simple.

The law is also the law. You cannot be breaking laws and be shouting you are following orders. Wike has every legal right to have access to that property. FCDA already went peacefully but were chased away. That action angered wike which likely resulted in the provoked outburst.
Knowing Wike, he acted purely out of impulse and old habits. He’s used to throwing his weight around and expecting everyone to bow instantly, but this time, he met someone who actually understands chain of command and the limits of civilian authority over the military. That naval officer followed due processz, he’s bound by military protocol, not political intimidation.

If Wike truly believes the officer overstepped and broke the law you you're alluding, then the same rule of law he often brags about should be his route, not theatrics. Power doesn’t mean you bulldoze everyone, sometimes, it’s about knowing where your authority stops but with Wike, he doesn't care.

If Wike is determined enough and pushes his powers, it wont matter that you are following orders,

All those that were following orders to prosecute Trump have all been fired including the daughter of Comey
Just yesterday Trump pardoned all those that Biden admin convicted for trying to upturn 2020 election

This is in the bastion of Democracy and law/order

Just yesterday again, the current Syrian president who was once called a terrorist and many Americans died following orders trying to track him down was hosted at the white house

Power is power. Once interests align, old alliances change and new ones are made throwing every old ally under the bus
Wike is a minister not the President. He has no power to fire the military officer. Trying to compare this matter to the witch-hunt of DJT is a false equivalence.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ellexy: 6:20pm On Nov 11, 2025
Infact knowing Wike, he likes those type of no nonsense boys that will stand on business no matter who is involved. He overplayed his hand right there. Orders are orders, they're not personal or can be.

It's like Nigerian soldiers think they're still in military regime. In the end this guy that think he's just doing his work and following orders will be used as sacrificial lamb. There's no way that guy won't be dealt with. Wike won't allow this embarrassment go.
Na this kind talk dey I no dey like. A soldier who is clearly doing his job should cower cos he doesn't want to be dealt with.

We don't pay TV Licence fee of £175 a year to go into Trump pocket

The whole country will immediately stop paying licence fee if that happens

Although I don't pay licence fee as a principle. I can't think of anything as unnecessary as TV socialism when schools and hospitals are underfunded. It is left to my wife to fulfil all righteousness and give to Caesar what is Caesers to keep me out of magistrates court.
That guy is highly transactional shaa, he'll be demanding something in return me thinks.

I fully support it. When they say media is corrupt and programming people this is another evidence. I hope DJT gets the full 1bn not a cent less. The same thing they did with the Gaza reporting. Especially a media organization that is funded by public money.

Same reason why Trump defunded PBS and NPR they are govt funded but in the D.C. area editorial positions at NPR, he said he found 87 registered Democrats, 0 Republicans
I watched the House hearing on defunding PBS and NPR and it was another brutal revelatory episode on how biased they are. It’s wild how the Left constantly preaches fairness and inclusivity, yet uses state supported platforms to silence and cancel anyone who disagrees with them. A so called government funded body is heavily biased against one side it's not even close.

For all the talks about how the Right is racist and whatnot, the Left is even more brutal and ruthless when it comes to not tolerating dissenting voices or differing opinions they can't police, add that to their develish games of warping reality and distorting the truth.
