Leyqute: He could be that, as well as a Bruno. He has a lot of work to do. I sincerely hope they’re working on him behind the scenes. Yeah I really do. He's blessed physically and technically, he's stamina and tenacity however needs to improve. |

afrodoc: He has only really played 2 full seasons na so I don’t think you can say his growth has tinder over the past 2 seasons.
He had an excellent season 2 seasons ago which culminated in him making his England debut and then cementing his place in the starting lineup.
Last season he came back unfit from the Euros and then had a number of injuries during the season that wrecked it for him.
His biggest problem though is that he is not a natural fit for this 3-4-3 with the 2 man midfield. At least not at EPL pace.
Even Bruno is not a natural fit but is benefiting from “my captain must play” and Portuguese parapo.
When Amorim first got here I stressed that some regular players would not fit the system while some fringe players might benefit.
Mainoo has to improve on his stamina/work rate and passing range. I think he has it in him but he has to go get it. If Amorim has any sense sha Mainoo has to be the 1st name off the bench going forward and not Ugarte. Looks like Amorim values tenacity above technicality. That can only be the reason Ugarte is ahead of Mainoo in the pecking order but gim gim without sense is a net negative for the team. I really hope we get to see more of Mainoo and less if Ugarte as the season progresses. |

Seunpapa65: Understand Manchester United are still working on deal to sign Senne Lammens, talks underway.
Personal terms are almost agreed and Man United are in active talks for the Belgian goalkeeper.
#MUFC try to anticipate more clubs from France and Italy, also based on exits. I think It’s clear now that Amorim doesn’t rate either Onana or Bayindir, especially Onana. Reports after that Arsenal game say he pushed hard for the club to fast track the move for Lammens. A midfielder is still a must. |

Respect to Rasmus, it didn't work out for him but he's not a prick, hope he kicks on at Napoli or wherever he goes.
On our goalkeeper situation, I hope Bayindir continues in goal this weekend against Fulham, he gives more confidence than Onana, and his distribution is better than whatever we've seen from Onana so far. |

afrodoc2: It could be more than problematic. Imagine Eze with space and better players around him. You also can't easily crowd Arsenal's right side so that means Saka with space. And with their already solid defence, they're automatically favorites for the league. |

ChristineC: Garnacho "rejecting" Bayern as reported, proves my judgement of his character wrong. he knows it will be a no nonsense environment where he will be forced to shape up or ship out. he is more interested in enjoyment than football. Chelsea are only interested in what they can gain from flipping him after a year or two anyways. he will be just another boy that throws his career away for good life.
Man United permitted a lot of indiscipline over the years. Take it easy on homelander's son. |

afrodoc: Antony is not. It is only in EPL that you will readily find clubs that have such money to spend on a single winger. Unfortunately, he is an EPL flop so EPL clubs don’t want him.
Clubs in continental Europe don’t have that kind of money outside Real, Bayern, PSG etc.
Garnacho is the one that could have gotten us 50m easily but he messed us up by declaring he wanted only Chelsea. Antony isn’t actually a bad player imo. Hutchinson and Madueke aren’t better than him. The real issue has been the pressure of the club and the weight of his transfer fee. He was being linked to Atletico Madrid and he looks like a Diego Simeone type of player but eventually nothing came of it. As for Garnacho, choosing Chelsea is his business, that’s his choice. But the club must make sure Chelsea pays full value, nothing less than what Arsenal paid for Madueke. Both him and Chelsea dey craze if they think he’s leaving cheaply.

They are not returning hostages, they fire rockets into Israel but want Israel to stop atacks
Once again, If you were in Israels shoes. Your neighbor says his life ambition is to see the end of you, and they follow up with actins regularly, they kidnap your people and refuse to release them, What would you have done immediately after Oct 7 and what will you do today? A question that is still begging to be answered by all the anti Israeli brigade. |

.......really tough selling our players. I was expecting Betis to beg us with €100m for Antony this window ffs!
Dude nearly won an European Trophy for them, yet this is what we deserve?! LOL! I understand difficulty in selling the likes of Rashford and Sancho cos of their high wages, but you see the others wey their salary no even big I can't understand. Antony is a 50 million pounds player easily in this market. |

iamharkinwaley: I honestly don’t understand this club…. We have glaring concerns yet they just keep watching and doing nothing. Why will a big club like United will still be using Bayindir in a new season, why can’t you get a new CM asap. Last match goalkeeper cost us that game and he will keep costing us unless something is done about it. Get me a goalkeeper una dey mad 😡 Truth is they also need to sell. So far the club haven't sold anyone this transfer window. And for a new keeper to come in, Onana will likely be moved on which isn't feasible at the moment but who knows. |

Jamiuokolaa: The Ugarte sub made no sense..considering the fact that we were chasing the game.
Mainoo would have been a good sub for a CB towards the tail end of the game when we literally threw the kitchen sink at Arsenal.
Unfortunately, we must always play 3 CBs and would rather stick Maguire upfront, hoping for some magic from him. One major thing he got wrong in that game. Ugarte should join the rest of the bomb squad abeg. |

Amorim looks like he doesn't trust Mainoo. Benched him in the semi finals and finals of the Europa league. Against Arsenal, he could have brought him on instead of Ugarte but he let him sit the game out. Isn't it obvious that Mainoo is better than Ugarte? |
