It’s honestly baffling that people are genuinely asking why a regime with a well-documented history of sponsoring global terrorism shouldn’t be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.

That’s the equivalent of giving a licensed firearm to a violent psychopath with a proven track record of threats and aggression and expecting a love feast.

What could possibly go wrong?

What attack did Iran carry out, to receive what Israel did yesterday?

Can you share with us?[/color]
The question you highlighted from Diggz post was about threats and I answered accordingly.

Unless I’m missing something, Trump has so far kept his promise of not dragging the U.S. into new wars. We’ve seen this with the Russia-Ukraine conflict, where he has significantly reduced support and funding for Ukraine. That's a good posture to have for someone who wants to end a conflict.

Regarding the Israel-Iran conflict, the United States has clearly stated that it is not involved in the recent escalation. That’s why the current administration is pursuing diplomacy with Iran unlike during Trump’s first term, when he ordered the killing of Soleimani and others.

Akaekpuchionwa2:
This is what happens when you consume Western propaganda.
After the dissolution of the USSR, Russia and NATO reached an agreement. NATO agreed that they will not to expand eastward.

Can the United States of America allow Mexico or Cuba to join a military alliance with China, North Korea and Russia? If Mexico or Cuba attempt to join such alliance United States will invade them.

Secondly, there is a huge ethnic Russian population in South-Eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian axov battalions have been killing them non stop since 2014. Russia simply moved in to protect her people. Just like we have Trump and United States sending commercial aircraft to evacuate white South Africans a.k.a Afrikaners because of non existent government sponsored discrimination.
It is only Africans that will abandon their kit and kins.
Lol Western propaganda ke? Oya let's do a little bit of history.

1. The "NATO promise" myth?
There was no formal treaty or legally binding agreement that NATO would never expand eastward. If there is, please do well to provide it. That claim stems from an offhand remark during a 1990 conversation between U.S. and Soviet officials about East Germany only, not all of Eastern Europe.
And just so you know, countries like Poland, the Baltics, and others chose to join NATO voluntarily because of their historical trauma under Soviet domination and they feel safe there.

2. The U.S.–Cuba comparison? Apples and suya.
Cuba aligning with the USSR during the Cold War led to the Cuban Missile Crisis because the USSR placed nuclear missiles 90 miles off U.S. shores.
Ukraine, on the other hand, did not join NATO. As of the invasion in 2022, Ukraine was not a NATO member, so Putin didn’t invade to stop NATO expansion; he simply invaded to stop Ukraine’s independence.

3. Protecting ethnic Russians?
This is the same excuse Hitler used for invading parts of Europe under the guise of "protecting German speakers." Since 2014, there has been conflict in Eastern Ukraine, but much of it was instigated by Russian-backed separatists.
And let’s not pretend Russia has been gentle, didn't they they annex Crimea Illegally as a test run before launching a full-scale invasion, bombing cities and killing civilians? That’s not protection, that's simply expansionism.

4. Afrikaner evacuation = False equivalence.
Trump never ordered a government evacuation of white South Africans. No official program was launched. Comparing that to a literal, bloody invasion of a sovereign nation is a massive reach.

So let’s call it what it is. Putin’s goal is not protection or whatever you call, it’s control. He’s trying to drag Ukraine back into Russia’s orbit by force because a free, independent, democratic Ukraine threatens his grip on Russians at home. Not only that, Ukraine didn't invade Russia, never threatened Russia, didn't fund militias and terrorist group like Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis.

So Western propaganda isn't the issue, Revisionist history mixed with Kremlin PR is.

So according to the western propaganda, the Israel attacked Iran because Iran was planning to have a nuke to wipe them out, not that Iran attacked first..but when it comes to Russia, they make it look like Russia woke up one morning and started to invade Ukraine..

No one is calling Israel the aggressor here (literally they attacked first) but every of the west is calling Russians the aggressor ( because they attacked first)..

Make it make sense
See eh, context is everything. Ukraine has never posed an existential threat to Russia, nor has it ever threatened to wipe Russia off the world map. What we’re witnessing is simply your lord and saviour, Putin, chasing his fantasy of reviving the old USSR. For him, taking Ukraine is a major piece in that delusional empire puzzle.

Israel, on the other hand, is fighting for its very survival. There’s an Igbo adage that says, “Only a tree gets threatened with an axe and still stands there doing nothing.” Israel is no tree. The only reason it’s still a nation today is because it has maintained military superiority over hostile neighbours who have tried repeatedly to wipe it out and failed. That, and the backing of its Western allies.

Now, when a country like Iran who has publicly vowed to erase you starts sniffing around nuclear weapons, you don’t fold your arms and wait to become radioactive dust. Israel understands that as a small nation, one nuclear strike could be all it takes to end them. So yes, they’ll do whatever it takes to stop that from happening preemptively, decisively, and unapologetically.

We must learn a lesson.
But what lesson exactly? That a missile struck a residential area and injured some civilians while your enemy is killing off your top military generals and destroying critical military targets?

Surely you need the lessons more.

A40 and others

Match just start.
Calma!

Iran has announced its losses and will remain transparent.
More importantly, there is now no impediment to Iran becoming a nuclear power.
It finally has the justification it craves.
And everything and everyone in Israel, including Dimona, is fair game in perpetuity.

-Lord
Abeg abeg......Since when did everything and everyone in Israel stop being fair game for the Iranian regime? Iran’s wahala with Israel didn’t start today na. These people have been threatening to wipe Israel off the world map since like forever, and nothing has changed till this very moment.

The only difference be say Israel dey back their mouth with action, while Iran just dey blow hot air with little shaku shaku. You go hear, “We’ll destroy Israel!” every market day, but when it’s time to move, na shout dem dey shout.

Meanwhile, Israel no dey waste time or energy replying every threat. They act and respond accordingly. Whether it’s Syria, Lebanon, or even inside Iran gangan, once they smell threat, they respond clean and coded.

All these one you dey talk na mainly cap, we have been watching this movie for a while now. Iran dey talk war, Israel dey do war.
