I'm surprised by how you love the performance though.

Despite the fact that I like Van gaal, I was furious by how we set up against Liverpool in the Europa cup because one of the reason I like him is his bold tactic against top teams.. The only weakness is our inability to break down the small team due to our lack of pace and little creativity but then, we improved with the introduction of the clinical pacey Rashford and the movement of Lingard in the team but it was too late.

Anyway, I'm already coming to term with Mourinho style of play as long as we're ready to pick up the maximum point against the small team, especially now that we not only have Rashford but also, Pogba, Ibra and maybe Mkhi..

Nah... it's not about the performance(remember I opted for a win against Loserfools), although I am at peace with the draw,bearing in mind that a loss woulda been spelling something else.

It's just the way some folks are making it seem it's the first time Jose has gone on cautious mode against rivals.

As long as we can be getting maximum points against lower opposition, Mou can move a junk yard to our part of the pitch against any of our rivals till our team Chemistry is good to go!

Nope. Lallana changed the game.. You may not see him taking shots or creating chances but he gave them the calmness and composure they needed in the midfield which resulted into better attacking display. He's their playmaker after all..

The thing is I want our team to dominate the midfield in almost every game, especially against a woeful Can and average-decent Henderson. I guess that's not too much, right?

Like you've stated, he's improved but I want a commanding midfield performance and not some puffing and huffing.

Lallana didn't change nada.. just a few flashes and he was gone.
Mane , Coutinho and Firmino where the real threats today.

Their injuries ke,so did our injuries too. (Just imagine wetin Martial for use Clyne eye see today ).

I just hope Herrera can keep improving with each game time he gets. He doesn't just do huffing and puffing,he does a meaningful job in that midfield.

The Armenian is intelligent, his movement is slick, his close control is impressive & unlike Mata, he is willing to shoot from range (not selfishly like Pogba though). He would thrive in a system where the attacking trio behind the CF constantly interchange positions.

If we can get him to be fit, a roving triumvirate of Miki, Mata & Martial (MMM ) behind the striker would destroy opponents, trust me.


As things are, Rashford's immaturity (and Zlatan's Status/reputation) are probably the factors keeping him from starting as top CF.

Just imagine playing the 4 M's in attack...

I still believe Rashford will get his run at CF.

Herrera's foul was repeatedly several times.. The stoke game was also another! There's no way he would have made it to the final minutes if that was a CL game, which begs the question of what exactly is his role.. We can't continue to deploy him in that role against better midfield opposition (if lallana and Wijd had started, we could have been saying something else) nor is he playmaking no 6.

Anyway, he was good today and deserve his man of the match award.

There's no way one can play in that role and not foul repeatedly, it only begs the question of how strong were the tackles that resulted to the fouls?

What if Banana and Giorgino started and nothing changed? Just what "If"?

All I know is that he has been good so far,although I would like to see him in an attacking position too,if he performs well repeatedly there,then we might just have another good player in our squad who can play multiple positions well.

I'm just happy that he has improved,let's see how it pans out.
