Hey Redmi Note 5 Pro users,

The update date for MIUI 9.5 with Oreo 8.1 was late May, but according to MIUI Announcements the time is changed to Early June.

According to MIUI developers the update date was fixed as 27th May 2018, but during the roll out time the file got corrupted. At the same time people updated their devices with the corrupted MIUI version and Android Oreo.

To fix this MIUI 9.5.11.0 was launched and people were suggested to downgrade their devices. Haven't done? Do it right now then. After 1 hr of rolling out of both ROMs the update was suspended due to lot of bugs.

Till now the development team is ready to provide you the bug free update. There are some tests which need to be done to provide 100% bug free update. The update will arrive till Mid of the month.

New update arrival date : Between 7 June to 16 June.

Hope you got it clear. Be patient, you'll get 100% bug free update in upcoming days.

Comment down below if you want any help regarding this device.

Noobody has the 5d glass...its better

Oga nobody pls come to za rescue mana. I need tampered glass for Xiaomi Redmi note 5

Abubakar96:
On a personal note, I think the whole notch design trend is stupid and something temporary. I feel OEM adopt it just to feel among and the whole design won't last. Look at Samsung and The Huawei Porsche Design, Mi Mix 2s, LG V30s ThinQ for example, these phones are stunning looking and elegant and they still manage to attain a high screen to body ratio.

SAMSUNG is never going to adopt the Notch Design.

Bross chill.... D next Sammy flagship is even coming with a triple camera setup u de here d deceive urself say dem no go notch 'em phones..... Laughing in Chinese

Erm when abeg pls oh who get am por Redmi note 5 tampered glass..

Hala

Ennyhorlar:
Something identical.. And not a copied design
_
Using the M8 now.. People gonna feel like " Oh, he can't afford IPHONE X that's why he's buying the Chinko Version "

Which ain't true

Did u know it was the essential phone that started THE NOTCH thingy and iPhone 10 actually copied them

So Na only iPhone get the power to copy Abi not other brands.... Una go well last last

I just love Xiaomi, but would I blame the people saying that? NO!!

Xiaomi cloned Iphone X on the Note 5 and the latest ones
Copied Samsung S8 on Redmi 5plus and Redmi 5
Copied iPhone Designs on other ones

Did u know that the iPhone x cloned essential phone design?

Oh so it's allowed for apple to clonevsbi but other brands ain't allowed to do it Abi?

Tell me is d dual gps thingy present in iPhone x?

Aha una go de alright last last.

God bless Alhaji LEI JUN....
