Seun moderators are bias. Sometimes, u will post something that doesn't violate rules, they will still ban u and u will be surprised. But some people will post bad comments, they won't remove it or ban it. If to say their ban is not one sided, tribalism would have been reduced long time. Once someone post about tribalism, they should remove it. But yet, they will not do it. They are like Nigeria politicians that will leave big issues, but running 🏃‍♀️ after minor ones.

Nigeria was not the only country giving subsidies. The inability of the government to fight smuggling that should be considered a national sabotage and national security issue is a big fail on the administration. Rather than national security operatives go to lagos house of assembly to intimidate lawmakers, this should’ve been their primary assignment. Big Fail!

The REASON there is NO MORE FUEL SHORTAGE is because of the SUBSIDY REMOVAL which discouraged SMUGGLERS from shipping out our oil through the borders, supplying the rest of Africa with our Petrol!

So SMUGGLING OUT our petrol and diesel to Cameroon, Ghana, Togo, Sierra Leone, etc, is now UNPROFITABLE, hence the widespread availability of fuel in Nigeria, and disappearance of the notorious fuel queues of the past.

While the government’s intention to strengthen tax compliance is understandable, making a Tax Identification Number (Tax ID) compulsory for basic financial services such as banking, insurance, and stock investments could end up punishing ordinary Nigerians more than it benefits the economy.

Millions of Nigerians are still outside the tax net, and many operate in the informal sector where income is unstable and poorly documented. Forcing them to obtain a Tax ID before they can open a bank account or access financial services could push people further away from the formal economy, defeating the very goal of broadening the tax base.

Instead of compulsion, government should first build trust and simplicity in the tax system. Nigerians already feel burdened by multiple taxes and levies, often without seeing the benefits in infrastructure, healthcare, or security. Until accountability and service delivery improve, making Tax IDs mandatory for financial inclusion may look less like reform and more like another barrier.

True progress will come from policies that encourage voluntary compliance, supported by technology, awareness, and incentives — not by shutting the door of the banking hall against those who are already struggling to survive.

He didn't make the economy unstable but only brought us out of our fake and window dressing economic situation where the country was borrowing billions of dollars to defend the naira in the forex, to pay salary of workers, to subsidy for foods and fuel. Yes there is nothing bad in borrowing if it is for infrastructure developments and human development. Tinubu's reform is a right and audacious call by the president. No pain, no gain.
