The problem with Nigeria's food supply is

1. We are not producing enough, because the number of people in the country has outstripped the ability of our subsistence farming system to feed them

2. One of the wrong things that was done in Nigerian history was to scrap DFFRI. That was an organization set up to fix rural roads among other things and by extension ease of transporting food from village to town.

I mean, dangote said it. A lot of good food spoils because of poor transport.
