He's just a powerful guy with no interesting abilities. They want me to believe that he's stronger than guys like Kyouraku because he has huge spiritual pressure and physical strength.

At least, other characters seem to have abilities that can be negated in some way or at the very least, have predictable capabilities. Kenpachi has the kind of power that an imaginary character that I made up in primary school to fight against my friends' imaginary characters would have.

Let me quote an older post I made where I talked about my problems with his character:

Sometimes I wish this character never existed. He breaks the power scaling of Bleach because he is supposed to be the most powerful on paper but in this arc, all he ever does is disappoint or bullshxt his way to victory. This just makes all the other captains who actually have interesting abilities (as opposed to "hurr durr me use two hands make big strong" look like chumps.

Anyway, what I was trying to say is that a lot of manga that could be considered to be josei/shoujo are now being published in shonen/seinen magazines. This means that they may not technically fall under the category that you're looking for.

It could be helpful to be more specific about what you're looking for, such as genre (eg:romance, slice of life) rather than demographics (like josei). Because demographics are all over the place these days.

He's like Shao Kahn the gameboy-era Mortal Kombat games. No cool combos or throws, he just body checks you twice and you die.
