waynetee: Why don't you show us the pictures.. SW generally have many drainage systems, that's development There are beautiful places in SW but telling me that brown roofs is something to be proud of is what I disagree. Onitsha, Awka even Enugu have been existing before most of the towns in SouthWest but you can hardly see old roof dilapidated structures there. I'm not boasting but Igboland have greatly changed from 2020 to 2023. You guys can still change ur stories. |

Airlord2030: simple do you want me to bombard here with your yeast slums?
You can only lie to those that have not been to Igboland nwanne Post pictures of Igboland that we can verify its current state in 2023. Most pictures you cropped out from Channels were old and doesn't depict the current status of Anambra. Bro, between 2020 to 2023, a lot has changed in SouthEast with Real Estates, New Layouts, NEWMAP intervention on Erosion sites etc. |

waynetee: Tell me what south east states look like.. Osun state has the lowest rate of unemployment in Nigeria and that tells you they are not poor unlike Anambra and other SE states which about 50% of people are jobless.. Most of the old houses are occupied by refugees from other states like you So erosion, a natural disaster doesn't occur in SW |

doctore212: Exactly. Does it mean that aluminum roofing sheet don't exist there?
Why must it be rusted?
Even the olosho house I went in ibadan the roof was leaking Hahahaha. #300 Olosho full Ibadan with their one pant 3 weeks kpekus |

Politics › Re: Welcome To Ilesha, Osun State by EmekaA125(m): 12:06pm On Apr 19, 2023 |
waynetee: Dont compare SE with SW, you people are just building houses.. Those houses there are more than 100 years and it has turned to family house.
You people with weird mentality, should they demolish the houses because the roofs have turned brown. Even Europe countries have the oldest houses and brown roofs Change the old roof and put new Aluminum sheet that doesn't rust. Some of the buildings in SE had brown roofs on it before. |

BastadThiefnubu: bro the first time I explored the heart of Ibadan, I was shocked to the marrow. The whole place is a mess and I kept asking myself what their successive government has been doing. Morever, this p Lol...Ibadan has been like that since. Mapo, Yemetu, Ojee, Mokola, Akpata, Oke-bola. I know Ibadan very well. |

MadamExcellency: Eastern Nigeria is different because all ancient buildings and monuments were bombed and leveled during the Civil War.
The buildings and roads are recent and somehow modern. Lol....so you mean every part of Igboland was destroyed during the war ?? I thought it's only the bridge and few structures were affected?? |
Politics › Re: Welcome To Ilesha, Osun State by EmekaA125(m): 11:45am On Apr 19, 2023 |
waynetee: The joke is on you, which south east states can match Lagos, ogun or oyo interms of infrastructure .. Despite oyo and anambra being about the same population, oyo state have atleast ×4 of houses and road connections that anambra.
Infact remove lagos, oyo state still have more road connections than the entire SE... It will take SE atleast 100 years to meet SW interms infrastructure. Every sane person who has traveled throughout the country knows SS And North Central is even far more developed than the dead zone SE, not to talk of SW.
Compare yourself with SS first, lets see Yen yen yen. Why are there brown roofs in every part of Yorubaland and you are talking titoti. |

BastadThiefnubu: This doesn't change the fact that the cities in the Eastern Nigeria look better than your cities. I don't give a hoot about fabricated data from Nigeria, if what is on ground says otherwise. We know how Nigeria is run.
Now answer, the civil war took place in the Eastern Nigeria, but many years after the war the cities in the Eastern Nigeria look modern unlike yours. Can you explain? They have no answer to this unbiased question. They will tell you how SW is big and dated 1700. Every part of Yorubaland is covered with ancient brown roofs and they're not bothered about it. From Ibadan to Akure, Ijebuode, Abeokuta, Ibarakpa, Oshogbo to Ilesha, Ikirun, Ilaje, Ogbomosho, the story is the same. No sincere answer about the brown roofs. |

tommy589: They were already towns before the creation of Nigeria. It was not for economic reasons or discovered mineral resources that brought them to existence Lol....see flimsy excuse. Do you know how old Onitsha, Awka, Enugu, Abakaliki and other towns in Igboland are yet they look modern and less primitive?? Yorubas are yet to explain why there are many brown roof enclaves in their neighbourhood. |

waynetee: I know those places. Beautiful and peaceful town. They have old houses so as the new ones, ilesha is the biggest town in osun state and osun state is the lowest with unemployment rate in Nigeria. Story. Brown roof enclave. Una no try at all. Take a cue from SouthEast cities and do better. You can hardly see old rusted zinc in Onitsha. |
