Afamation Movement Gifts Houses To Nine Indigent Widows

Nine homeless widows from the nine villages that make up Ekwuluobia in Aguata Local Government Area are now proud owners of houses as Afamation Movement built and gifted them a bungalow each.

Afamation Movement, a non-governmental organization, was founded by Mr Afamefuna Ezenwafor with the mission to leave the society better than they met it.

The movement since foundation has been in the business of rendering help to the indigent in the society through different intervention schemes such as scholarships, provision of shelter for the homeless and numerous others.

According to the movement, their target is to provide 50 housing units for 50 homeless widows in the nearest possible time.

Speaking while handing over the buildings to the beneficiaries, the Founder of Afamation Movement, Mr Ezenwafor said the gesture is a way to demonstrate practical Christianity and to give hope to the hopeless.

He further explained that they partnered Ositadinma Care Foundation in the project and revealed that the beneficiaries of the second phase will be selected from within and outside Ekwuluobia as he sought for more partners to help them reach the goal.

Some guests at the event including the Commissioner for Chieftancy and Town Unions, Mr Tony-Collins Nwabunwanne and his Women Affairs Counterpart, Mrs Ify Obinabo commended Afamation Movement for his philanthropy and called on more Well-to-do individuals to emulate Mr Ezenwafor

A stakeholder of the movement, Barrister Donald Amamgbo and a cleric, Reverend Canon Ken Mmaduka said that anyone who wants to enjoy God's blessings must learn to invest in others even as they joined others to commend Mr Ezenwafor and the Afamation movement for the initiative.

Some of the beneficiaries, Messrs Ebele Ezeokeke, Chikodili Ezeokonkwo and Ijeoma Onwumelu in tears of joy told ABS that God used Mr Ezenwafor to meet them at the point of their needs at a time all hope seemed to have been lost.

Anambra that is Southern Ijaw LGA in Area is having 21 LGAs when whole Southern Ijaw LGA that is equivalent to all of Anambra is just 1 LGA.

State is a creation by population not landmass. If it's by landmass, Kogi State that is 3x bigger than the entire SE won't be having less LGA than Imo State. Even Anambra has same 21 LGAs as Kogi State. The whole Bayelsa is surrounded by water bodies hence the 8 LGAs. Even Zamfara as big as it is has just 14 LGA. Hope I was able to educate you ??
