BTW, beloxxi crackers biscuits used to be a very nice and delicious biscuit..I don't know if it's still retaining that...

Today, I went job hunting at Belloxi with my brother. When we arrived shortly after 8:00 a.m., there was already a large crowd outside the company. We were told to wait because they would start calling people later.

By around 9:15 a.m., they began calling out the names of applicants who had been given forms to fill earlier. Those people were allowed inside for an aptitude test and interview. Anyone who didn’t get a form was basically left outside, waiting for further direction.

Honestly, I think this method is very poor for a company of Belloxi’s size. It’s an old and inefficient way of recruiting. We are in a digital era. A company like that should have an online system where applicants can submit their CVs, WAEC results, and other required credentials, whether for casual or permanent Staff.

That way, whenever there is a shortage of staff, the company can simply go through their database and invite selected candidates for tests or interviews. It would save time, reduce stress, and eliminate unnecessary crowding. Instead, you see people standing outside every day. Some people I spoke to said they waited until 5:00 p.m. just because they needed a job. That is really sad and unfair.

I personally left by 10:00 a.m. because I couldn’t imagine waiting all day like that. I’d rather continue searching for another opportunity. The only conclusion I could draw from the huge turnout is that either Belloxi pays well and treats their staff properly, or jobs are generally scarce and people are desperate for any opportunity available.

Still, for a company of such magnitude, this shouldn’t be happening. They need to do better. A proper digital recruitment system would reduce stress for applicants, improve efficiency, and even make security and crowd control easier for the company itself.
