A single drop of sweat is like a salty water.....it can destroy any electronic components....

Give it to an engineer to dry and check it....

I repaired a guy's a7 pro last year...the lcd went blank.....

He was on facebook badmouthing the brand.... advising people against it.

So I told the guy to come to my house since I have the screen for sale and his distance ain't far.........he came and behold, there was sand in the charging port, I asked him how, he said he went to beach and small water spilled inside.

If I be umidigi agent,I will arrest him immediately , I changed the screen and cleaned the panel, told him to delete everything he posted on the umidigi page,it's not fair.

There is one with me here, naso the owner badmouth until he later confessed that he hard bricked the phone while trying to put custom rom......but he don badmouth the brand tire....

I am not saying the phone can't go off but not like the way people are saying it......some are caused by we users but we won't say it out.....

I have a dead dell laptop here that went off for no reason while using it , now I need to get a new motherboard or just sell it off as scrap....Will I say dell is a useless brand?

Ordered a full LCD screen from Aliexpress... It was delivered but after fixing it discovered it doesn't work.... Screen is just dead blank... phone is perfectly fine., Wen I plug in charger led light comes on.., the led light in somehow attached to the screen touch which is attached to the LCD screen.

I opened dispute but seller isn't willing to refund.... Keeps saying I should do installation test with a working LCD screen and then theirs to see if my phone sef is working.

Where am I going to see working LCD touchscreen to do test? Is that not y I ordered for the item in the first place?

This seller is just difficult... I have ordered another one from a different seller sha... Waiting for AliExpress to step in if they will dash my $22 to the seller for a dead screen

Screen and anything lcd is dangerous to order on aliexpress and co......

Because they already said it that they ll test all lcd before dispatch..so aliexpress believe they truly test those screens meanwhile in reality , that are just retailers....

This kind of dispute is hard to win cuz the seller will claim you are not a technician and also you fixed it yourself , in that process, you damaged it.....

Just pray make aliexpress no chop your eyes

In fact I formatted it several times and it was still hanging in the welcome/start page. So I subtly concluded that it was hardware issue.

If that's the case....flash the stock rom with sp flash tools

So I decided to jump a gutter like a parkour pro and my sweet a7 pro flung off my back pocket and hit the ground face first.. BAM! The sound I heard was like when jet li breaks someone's bone in movies. Lo and behold, screen Don shatter as if lightning struck a tarmac. But phone is still working fine, no ink on the screen but the top screen Don register ten thousand crack lines... Tears rolling down my eyes and I decided to clean it but it was just sweat. Please, guys what's the way forward for me? New screen or can the top screen stuff be replaced?

Best places to get UMIDIGI screen protectors are usually Aliexpress and Amazon but that's just taking it too far, and it's expensive. Find one of the wheelbarrow accessory pushers and pick one that'll fit your screen.

There are Umidigi accessories on jumia....he should check if f2 is there

It's the proximity sensor.....

If you have a screen protector installed, clean it, if that did not work,

Remove the screen protector and clean the screen, if it works, buy another screen protector...

Another thing is just to restart your phone

The screen of my Umidigi A5 Pro phone spoilt sometime last year, I have been managing it the way it is and recently ordered a replacement screen from Aliexpress which has not yet landed.

But the screen went blank last night and has refused to come on since then. The battery was about 30 something percent when this happened.


Please can anyone suggest how I can get the screen to come on again or what could have caused the blackout?

Any suggestion where I can repair the phone too will be welcomed. I am in Enugu.

It's normal for a damaged screen to stop working along the line....since you have already placed an order for the screen...just chill till it arrives
