Where are my female combatants........While we wait for the list, please try and build up your self confidence. When you get to Old site it'll look like Sgt Dauda is picking on you but trust me he's not, he's only trying to toughen you a bit.

During last screening I swearrugad it was as if every officer was picking on me Sgt Dauda, the evil medical officer, the captain that conducted psyco, Friday and the MP in charge of female lines but I guess the reason is because of my butty looks.
with your medical status hmm are you now free?

Hi, welcome to the thread. Since nonody has helped you with any explanations to your questions, let me help you, as I no see sleep sleep. cheesy

1. The phones sold here are 100% sourced from the USA-, both fairly used and brand new. These phones are ordered from local classifieds ad sites like 5 miles, Offer Up, Craigslist etc and nationwide classifieds ad sites like Ebay, Amazon etc and other general shopping sites. The idea is to buy at the cheapest price possible, to make a good profit.
The process of scouting for such bargain deals is called deal-hunting. Hence, most of the sellers here are 'deal hunters'. There are also people who buy from the dealhunters to resell here or offline. You know the drill.

2. From whichever of the types of classifieds ad sites that the deals are bought from, somebody has to go pick and pay for the deal. You pay to them for the item+their fuel and service charge+shipping to Naija, and they go pick up, and will ship with other items, per week. It's a side-hustle, for them.
We call them pickers. They live in the USA.
However, some of them do strictly Ebay and Amazon. They may or may not live in the USA.. For Ebay and Amazon and general shopping on shopping sites, all they need is an address to ship packages to, and they arrange pickup with cargo shippers from the USA to ship to Naija.

3. a) When these deals are paid for, picked up, and shipped, a dealhunter may decide to advertise the deal as TLC (total landing cost). deal. Meaning that, they don't want to wait 1-2 weeks for the shipped item to land in Nigeria, before selling it off. So, they sell it off while it's still in transit, to free up money for other deals. TLC items already have the item cost+picker fees+shipping to Naija+ say 5k (+/-)profit factored intothe final offer. So, they're always cheap, not negotiable, but you have to patiently wait for them to land in Naija. TLC items are usually 20-40k cheaper than similar offers at Ikeja computer village. The cons here is that both you and the dealhunter don't know the full details of the condition of the deal. The pros, for the buyer is the cheap prices. The pros, for the dealhunter/seller is that they're able to turnover their investment as many times as they want, and make instant profit. Imagine dealing 10-15 times in a month and making 5-10k passive income.

3. b) Sometimes, the dealhunter/seller may not want to sell at TLC price, because selling at prevailing market price is more profitable, or the dealhunter may not get someone to buy at TLC value, until the item lands in Nigeria. This deal is called an AIN (Already in Nigeria) deal. Dealhunter buys item(s), ship to Naija, and sells at Naija prevailing rates, or slightly cheaper, to make higher profits. Most of these AIN dealers are shop owners and actual resellers at places like Ikeja Computer Village, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and in other states.
On this type of deal, you can go meet the dealhunter at their office or a meeting point, to inspect item's condition, before you pay for it.

I know that this thread has already reached 700 pages, but, go to Page 1, for more details on how it all works, and read up pages 1-10, and then, come to page 680 to the latest page, to have a good grasp of what we do here, and how to get nice deals.

You, too, can be a reseller, one-time buyer, or dealhunter.

Hello House

This advise/disclaimer goes to does buying deals from we deal hunters and pickers, especially resellers...we need to educate ourselves the different between used items and new items...

If you buy used items like phones or laptops, let's bear it in mind that there might be sign of use, sign of use like little scratches or small dent,or a technical issues that can be easily fixed by the buyer,we should not expect a year old or more items to still looks like brand new item, there will be sign of use,and we should change our mind set about if my item get issue I will kuku return the item to the deal hunters or pickers and get my money back,we are all taking risk, and if there is issue, the issue should be resolved amicably between the buyer, deal hunter and picker....

Let us use a tokunbo Car as a case study,no matter how neat Tokunbo car is,you will surely fix one or two things when the car arrived Nigeria..

From finds, experiences and the complaints I got so far,our deals resellers is our major problem on this thread, how can you buy used unlocked IPhone X TLC 170k and sell it to your clients @ 250k.....you bought used items, sell it to your clients as used and sell it at reasonable prices and educate your clients that what he/she is buy is used, there will be sign of use..

My conclusion: the mind set of our deal buyers which says If I buy an item from a deal hunters or a pickers and the item have issue, I will get a refund, that law should be abolished...offer up and let go does not have buyer's protection,we should apply the same law here,if there is issue, the issue should be settled amicably between the pickers, deal hunters and buyer....we should all bear it in mind that its risk we are taken buy from abroad, anyone that cannot take such risk should jejely buy from Nigeria....

To set the record straight: I am given this piece of advice/disclaimer because the ideal of secure a deals and sell it on a pickers thread was initiated and started by me,it all started from Milky thread in 2017...so,if there is issues related to deals hunting,i think I have every right to comment and adjust the rules and regulations related to deals hunting....

I'm given this advice/disclaimer because of the disputes going on underground between we deal hunters, buyers and pickers....don't mind my English, I'm typical Village boy and I no too go school...

I'm open to comments and lasting solutions from our deal buyers, deal hunters and from our pickers...this is public forum, comments are welcome...thank you..
