So recently I wanted to change my phone from an iPhone 11 Pro Max I got last year because I was already tired of using the phone. So I asked a friend of mine who sells phones and he asked me to get a 14 Pro Max but when I hear price omor fear catch me oh.

My guy told me the 14 Pro Max is now 1.2million naira, I was beyond shocked, but since I wanted to change the phone I decided to still buy the phone. Lo and behold it’s being just over 4days since I got this iPhone and honestly I feel really really empty. There’s nothing special about this huge slab of Glass. Feels like a total waste of money to me.

Yes The Camera of the 14 pro max is superb, video quality is excellent but my old 11 Pro Max will still perform all the task this phone will perform.

My Question is this, fellow Nigerians using expensive iPhones what do you gain from it.

I was just relaxing with a cup of coffee when this thought crossed my mind, prompting me to seek the opinions of our honorable ladies on this forum.

You see, I've worked with various companies and experienced both male and female bosses. Unfortunately, my encounters with female bosses have often been unpleasant. One particular manager stands out like a sore thumb in my memory. She would come to work in a foul mood, ready to transfer her aggression to the first staff member who greeted her with, "Good morning, madam."

It turned out she was having marital problems due to infertility, and we had to bear the brunt of her frustration at work. Unfortunately, I became her favorite staff member and assistant manager. After work, she would stay back to play games on her work laptop and wouldn't allow me to leave, forcing me to stay until 9 PM every single day.

I remember clearly when I informed her that I got a new job and was leaving. She became so angry that she excluded me from departmental meetings. That was just one experience; I went on to have countless unpleasant encounters with female bosses at work. Now, I prefer to work with male bosses. This isn't to say I discriminate against women in the workplace; it's just my experience.

Surprisingly, I found that most of my female colleagues also do not like working under a female boss. Nine out of ten ladies I interviewed would prefer a male boss. Despite the belief that men can be difficult, I can bet that most NL females, when given the option, would readily choose a male over a female boss. Why is that so? In one instance, I was told that female bosses are always harder on their own gender. Is this true?

Can you share your experience working with a female boss? How has that worked for you? Also, to the ladies of NL, is it true that you prefer not to work under each other?
