Seems it tends to get much more slower during this period, because of scholarship and PhD students resuming for winter semester.

When is your school resuming?. If it’s winter semester, maybe that’s why it’s delayed

Please what do you think can be done, is there anyway one can book appointment without uploading proof of livelihoods, or is there a way I can remove it from the necessary document to upload so as to book my appointment

Did you upload proof of funds on the consular portal before you can join the waiting list?, I’m not understanding it because proof of livelihood is showing as a compulsory document on the new portal. And did they send you an email that you’ve joined the waiting list on the new consular portal

Good day everyone, I am joining the waitlist for appointment date on the consular portal but I have a question, my birth certificate lists three names (e.g., "Chukwuemeka Oladapo Adebayo" but every other document show a shortened version (e.g., "Chukwu Oladapo Adebayo", would this discrepancy cause any issues? the shortened name is a commonly used version of the full name. Has anyone been in this situation?

Is it advisable to open my blocked account and fund it now due to the fact that German appointment date is running fast. I booked appointment 2024.

And how do I send the blocked funds from my Nigerian bank to the expatrio blocked account

There's no letter , even from your university's vice chancellor that will make them consider you if you don't fall under Category A. When the waiting time was less than a year around 2021, people did send such emails and it worked. Right now, they won't even reply to your email. I'll advise you source for Benin republic Residence permit and continue your enrolment, after 4 months, you can apply for visa. Before your visa is due, it will be 6 months.

Option two is to finish enrolment then apply for the Deutschlandstipendum. Unfortunately, you won't have a transcript

What do you mean by I won’t have a transcript if I make use of the deutschland stipendum route?

Please if I have a letter of presence from my university can I mail the embassy since my university don’t do online class and won’t defer my course ?

I’ve paid semester dues to accept the course and sent my documentation’s for enrollment, I didn’t know visa application takes this long until I got to see this thread, so I mailed my supervisor and he said the admission cannot be deferred that if I can’t come latest October 7 I will not be able to join the masters programme. And sent a mail to beg if I can start online classes.
And the deutchland scholarship in the sch would be open august 1st, planned to apply to that and then move to category A, after securing it

Hello bro about the health insurance what can I do in my case.
I didn’t know visa appointment date takes this long, before I accepted my admission by paying the semester fee before the deadline of two weeks given to me to accept the course, I’ve sent my documents for enrollment. And now it’s remaining my proof of health insurance. How do i sort it out for enrollment because I heard health insurance deducts money per month cause I don’t know when I would get an appointment date, I’m planning to apply for the deutchland scholarship that would be open soon.

Please enlighten me on this

Please does anyone have idea if course supervisor or the university can help one talk to the embassy to get an appointment date for someone in CAT B cause I’ve sent my document and I’ve been enrolled in the sch. Does it still work for people?

Hey guys. I’m really confused now cause I didn’t know German appointment dates takes long until a friend sent me a link of this thread which I went through from the beginning till now. I’ve been admitted to university of Bremen and I’ve paid my semester fees because if I didn’t pay within two weeks, the admission would be given to someone else. I’m planning to apply for the deutchland scholarship so as to use it as a means of moving to category A.
I’m confused and don’t know what to do since appointment date takes so long now.
And what other things can be done to fasten the appointment date if there’s no scholarship cause have paid semester fees.
Anyone admitted to university of Bremen here please can we link up so as to serve as guide please?
