taraba is one of d best states to serve in dis country... i jst completed nysc oct. 2014, i servd in mararraba, donga lga... it is very peaceful... there was no single case of any armed robbery in d town...u cld even walk around 12am if u choose...d security personnel already know u as a corper so dey dont disturb u... u r accorded ur due respect as a corper... u ppa gives u accomodation for free...dere is water, but u may av som issues during dry season sha...light is very constant...food is very cheap especially yam nd meat... ur allowie is paid very promptly...its 10k...u r literally treated like a god!!! its like d best one year of my life... i had enof chance to make serious impact in d lives of my dear students! if i have d chance to return i would do sp without even thinkin twice... so if ur r posted to taraba just start thanking God o!!!

i am a lagos guy nd i jst finishd my nysc oct. 2014... im grateful to God i served in taraba... i served in mararraba, donga lga... every thing u need ia there...light...network...food....security... d community is as lively as lagos especially on thursday which ia their market day! if u were postd to taraba, its a wonderful state! allowie is very certain (10k frm state govt.) nd it is paid very early most tyms btw 23 nd 25 of d month!!! Wukari lga nd Ibi lga, r d only places experiencing crises so if posted dere, just stay in Jalingo...
