This way, they can get easy access to you blog. For this reason, I am sharing an article How to create Chrome extension for your blog. Creating first chrome add-on for your blog: This Chrome extension adds an icon to the Chrome toolbar. It will display number post that you set for your homepage and Search bar in it. Here is the preview of the Chrome extension. Chrome Extension Preview Follow this easy steps to create a chrome extension. First Download This file Shoutmeloud Chrome Extension.zip and extract it. Step 1: Create an icon.png with resolution 128×128 PX and save it to the extracted file. Step 2: Open manifest.json file, add name and description to your blog in it. Extension Name: Name you would like to give to your app. Description: Short description of your blog (less than 132 characters). Step 3: Open extension.js file and replace ShoutMeLoud feed URL with your blog feed URL as shown in the image Step 4. In extension.html, replace shoutmeloud.com with your blog URL and you need to add a hyperlink of your blog logo. Now You’ve successfully created a Chrome Extension for your blog Preview your Chrome Extension: Now you can check the preview of extension in your Chrome browser using developer mode. Step 1: Go to chrome://extensions/ in your Chrome browser and click the developer mode check box Step 2: Click Load unpacked extension Button and Select your Chrome extension file and click ok.
