Somebody wants a first car that will be economical to use in terms of availability of spare parts, availability of mechanics & ruggedity of the car in Lagos. He was advised to go for either Golf 3 or Volvo s40 1999 to 2000 model. The price range of the two are almost the same. If the person is your brother, which one will u advise him to go for? D car with 2AZ engine is barely one year and was bought as tokunbo with over 200k mileage . Has Serviced it only twice with 20w-50 engine oil but noticed oil shortage though slight at about 400 to 500 miles of driving. Do I switch over to 5w-30 or do I continue with d 20w-50? Your candid advise will be appreciated. |

A Sienna 2002 model has been showing check engine light for the past 5 to 6 months now with no obvious decrease in performance. D Mech said d light doesn't matter. What do u advise? |
