Read the press statement from Anambra state government below...
The Anambra State Government alerts members of the public about the resurgence of Avian Influenza popularly called Bird Flu in some states across the country. This disease which is usually associated with birds can also be transmitted from bird to man. Bird Flu can be transmitted through direct contact with infected birds or poultry materials.
The Symptoms of the disease include fever, sneezing, cough, diarrhea, trouble breathing, general ill feeling, muscle aches, runny nose and sore throat. Members of the public are by this announcement advised to observe personal hygiene, and to wash their hands with soap and clean water after contact with birds and poultry product.
They should also ensure that all poultry meat and eggs are thoroughly cooked before eating. All poultry farmers in the state are also advised to clean their surroundings, and to report cases of sick birds to the nearest veterinary clinic.
Similarly all veterinary officers in the state are by this announcement requested to commence surveillance/sensitization visits particularly at Live-bird markets in the state to avoid the contact and spread of the flu.

After, she bought supplementary form #10,500 for another course, yet couldn't secure admission. Meanwhile those that their list came out had a lower average scores, in fact she scored above all them

2. Irritants: Some substances could act as irritants and cause eczema. Some of them include detergents, disinfectants, soaps or vegetables.



3. Allergens: Allergens like molds, pollens, dust mites and dandruff may also cause eczema break outs.



4. Dairy Products and Foods:

These may include foods like eggs, soy products, nuts and seeds and wheat.



5. Stress: Stress may not directly cause eczema but can worsen the symptoms.



6. Humidity: Extremely hot or cold weather may also cause eczema.



7. Hormones: Eczema may also be caused by changes in hormone levels.

Eczema can however be treated using some very effective natural remediessuch as:

3. Shea Butter: Just like coconut oil and jojoba oil, Shea butter also has a very strong moisturizing effect on the skin and can help to heal and repair skin which may have been damaged by eczema. It can also help to soothe the itching.

To use Shea butter as a natural remedy for eczema, here is what you should do;

*.Melt two tablespoons of Shea butter and add six tablespoons of coconut oiland some lavender oil if you like. Mix it thoroughly and use it to rub the affected area at least three times daily.



4. Oatmeal: Another very effective natural remedy for eczema is oatmeal. Oatmeal contains anti-inflammatory properties and canhelp to soothe the skin from eczema-related discomfort. It also works against itching.

Here is how to use oatmeal as a cure for eczema:

*.Get a cup of oatmeal and a piece of cheesecloth. Pour the oatmeal in the cheesecloth and tie it up securely. Soak the little bundle in your bath water for about ten to fifteen minutes. Use the water to shower or soak yourself in it. Pat yourself dry and apply some moisturizer.



5. Chamomile: Chamomile also containsanti-inflammatory properties. It also contains a natural alcohol, Bisabolol which helps to fight germs and bacteria. Chamomile is commonly used to treat skin related problems such as itching, irritation and inflammation.

To use Chamomile as a cure for eczema, here is what you should do:

*.Get about four tablespoons of dried Chamomile flower and Cheesecloth. Tie up the chamomile flower in the cheesecloth and soak it in your bathwater for about fifteen minutes. Use the water to have your bath and apply moisturizer.



6. Fish Oil: Low rate of essential fattyacids in the body has been fingered asone of the causes of eczema. Increasing the levels of omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids in the body is therefore one of the effective ways to cure eczema naturally. You can choose to take it as a supplement or in liquid form mixed with orange juice.



7. Honey: Honey can help to speed up the eczema healing process due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial contents. For this, you would need original raw organic honey and some bandages. Simply apply the honey on the affected area and use a bandage the tie it up to prevent smearing. Leave for about thirty minutes then wash it off with some water. Pat dry. You should do this thrice in a day for quick results.



8. Cornstarch: Cornstarch is another old and effective remedy for eczema.

To use cornstarch as a remedy for eczema, here is what you should do;

*.Mix some cornstarch with one or two spoons of grape seed oil. Rub on the affected area for a few minutes. Wash off and dry with a clean towel. Apply some moisturizer.



9. French Green Clay: French green clay has rich magnesium, potassium, iron and calcium contents which help torelieve itching and heal the skin from eczema breakouts. It is even more effective when mixed with witch hazel extract.

To use French green clay as a natural remedy for eczema, you should do the following:

*.Mix your witch hazel extract with about half a cup of French green clay to make a paste. Then apply it to the affected area until it dries up. Wash off and dry with a clean cloth then apply moisturizer.



10. Aloe Vera: Aloe vera is so great wit eczema that it can actually provide overnight results for some people. You can either extract some ofthe gel and rub on the affected area or make some of it into juice and drink it.



11. Gotu Kola: Gotu Kola extract can also be applied topically to the affected area or drunk as tea for relief.

After weeks of speculation and their fate hanging in the balance, the Service Chiefs have allbeen relieved of their appointments by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Their sack was made known by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina, while speaking with State House correspondents on Monday afternoon.

The Service Chiefs fired include Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh (Chief of Defence Staff), Lt.-Gen. Kenneth Minimah (Chief of Army Staff), Air Vice Marshal Adesola Amosu (Chief of Air Staff) and Admiral Usman Jibrin.

They were all appointed by ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.

Four people is feared dead after suspected Boko Haram members attempted a jail break at a prison in the southern Niger town of Diffa yesterday . The sect members attacked the prison with the aim of setting some of their members free. Three of the Boko Haram members and a soldier were killed during the incident.

It is clearly visible The Pirate Bay is the most infamous torrent site of all time. Its attitude towards copyright and related laws has landed the site and its admins in endless legal trouble for more than a decade, conflict that ensue everyday.
Following the convictions of The Pirate Bay 4– co-founders Gottfrid Svartholm and Fredrik Neij, former site spokesman Peter Sunde, and site financier Carl Lundström – most legal matters involving the site have been connected to local ISP blocking injunctions. Nevertheless, a separate legal process against the men themselves has persisted in Belgium.
Unusually, the case was based in criminal law, with Svartholm, Neij, Sunde and Lundström all standing trials of a range of crimes including criminal copyright infringement and abuse of electronic communications. However, the case itself has always experienced problems.
All four defendants deny having had anything to do with the site since its reported sale to a Seychelles-based company called Reservella in 2006. That has proven problematic, since the period in which the four allegedly committed the crimes detailed in the Belgian case spans September 2011 and November 2013.
Having failed to connect the quartet with the site’s operations during that period, the case has now fallen apart. Yesterday a judge at the Mechelse Court ruled that it could not be proven that the four were involved in the site during the period in question.
