Please boss in the house. What can be the sudden cause of flickering screen in laptops and what the solution can be.

The first case which happened few months ago, the Engineer said it's the motherboard that needs replacement.

This video I posted, the laptop has been a fully functioning working laptop. I gave it to someone, then the person took it to Ibadan. Upon reaching Ib to switch it on, the screen became blank and was flickering.

Please help in suggesting the cause and solution.
