Politics / Re: Only Illiterate Blaming Tinubu For Current Hardship In Nigeria by Emmanuelcann: 10:47am On Feb 05
True. Country was plundered to stupor and we could see it. Criminals empowered to terrorise and pillage we couldn't speak out. Politicians rape a nation senseless with or without our votes and the drama continues. The devil could take lessons from Nigeria on how to destroy a good thing.
Politics / Re: Nigerians Don’t Need To Read Buhari’s Book - Shehu Sani by Emmanuelcann: 9:10am On Jan 17
True. Just try travelling by road from Lagos to Kano with your family as we could do previously. The book will come alive for you!

Romance / Re: My Dad Was Right: This Is The Most Bitter Fact About Dealing With Women by Emmanuelcann: 4:40pm On Sep 23, 2023
If men play their God given part as men, they won't have any problems with the women. There's nothing wrong with women.
I love my mother like most other men in this world. I also love my daughters and sisters. Why shouldn't I love my God given companion? Men refusing to be men is the greater problem!

This would be a start at least. Pass the ball to your governors, senators and other elected representatives as well as the oha na eze, instead of the senseless violence and online diatribes/nuisance!

Our leaders all have private planes and our airports are secure. What are these Americans yapping about?

Phones / Re: Have You Ever Thought About This? A Good, Solid Powerbank, Made locally... by Emmanuelcann: 9:09am On Jul 05, 2023
GreaterFuture:
It occurred to me very recently that, one could be able to make a fairly large Powerbank with all materials readily available here in Nigeria (Lagos).
This came to my mind as somethings took me to Alaba few days ago.

One could make his own fairly small/large "Powerbank" that can charge and power phones, laptops and day to day appliances used in the home. And it would work Perfectly well! ... that's another key point, it is not inferior in Quality or long term usage reliability to the best of names.

This, would sizeably cushion the Power/electricity issue that most of us face.
Please pursue this vision. This field is a top priority in light of the primitive nature of our current electricity supply situation. This is how billionaire entrepreneurs are made!
Politics / Re: Ex-service Chiefs To Get Four Bulletproof Suvs, 20 Domestic Aides, 36 Soldiers by Emmanuelcann: 1:15pm On Jul 01, 2023
Very good! They kept the nation safe for all, taxpayers and non taxpayers. It's very reasonable that we must ensure their own safety at all costs while we daily run the gauntlet of Boko Haram, bandits, kidnappers, unknown gunmen and what not. Thank God that he is a partial God. Thank God that most "big men" will not die!
Politics / Re: How Awolowo Opposed The Creation Of The Midwestern Region in 1963. by Emmanuelcann: 8:55am On Jul 01, 2023
Interesting piece! "Restore the study of History in Nigerian schools!" Is my response. A beclouded past creates an uncertain future!
Not at all interested in the stupid tribal war being fought in nairaland by the minions of the criminals ruling and ruining our lives called "politicians!" Majority of the politicians in Africa are nothing more than the most brazen crooks in our midst!

He and Peter Konyegwachie that year.

Also remembered his fight with Joe lasisi , it was the height of boxing glory in Nigeria.

Rest on legend, the country failed you like several heroes and heroines before you.

the only people this country hasn't failed are those robbing her blind. What is happening to Nigeria can only be called rape!

Politics / Re: Igbos & Yorubas: Put An End To This Ugly Trend End! by Emmanuelcann: 3:16pm On Jun 27, 2023
seeme2:
My opinions are derivative of a clear worldview. They are consistent, conscientious, until maybe I get a better viewpoint and adopt it.

I am hardly on the side of African Americans or even migrants. I hate it when Nigerians argue that America is a migrant nation. This was since 2016, that the bile of Lagos tribalism or anti-tribalism was totally unknown to me. And I supported GEJ, never seeing any wrong in him except in the hindsight.

Igbo attack on the values and aspirations of the Yoruba is no longer tenable. Let there be respect from both sides. Are you aware many Igbos vote down Yoruba artist in the global arena, and even organise to attack their work? Yes it is true. If it is not okay to disparage the Igbo, it should be wrong to do thesame to the Yoruba. Yoruba bully others, and there are evidence of physical assault during the last election, however, organised sabotage, using WhatsApp groups, is another level of hate that should be addressed.

Let this ugly trend end.
Let the foolishness continue please! That way the North will continue to use their heads for drumming! They will be dominated for eternity at the rate they are going!!!
