jorel1: well , its complicated . for starters.mostly after an exgerated move of the bears ,i open the a trade on the last bearish candle arriving a support for a buy , i dont wait for a bullish confirmation too risky for me, the same goes for the bullish direction . the average range for 4hr eurnzd candle stick is about 65pips , so from that level i expect either a candle wick to form before proceeding in my choice direction or worst case scenario that level wouldn't hold and i lose roughly 65 pips ,
For the EURNZD EXAMPLE, ONLY one bullish candle formed after breaking that level so still within the zone , on a normal day if it continues going higher I get out manually but I am trading Brexit these days so i would have still remained in the trade anyway due to my fundamentals bias. This is indeed complicated and risky (me nor fit try am )...it seems to be working for you just well...kudos!!! |

Lifecontinues: Yes it is lot of hard work especially when you trade on H4, H1 downward. because you want to enter as many signal locked-in pair as possible (you do not care about the no. of pair you enter provided the signal is through, 10, 15, 20 pairs do not matter and that is why i use very very small lot cos what I do is pips cummulation)....If I trade one pair, the probability of winning is just like tossing a coin once (Head or Tail outcome) but no. of head or tail increases in one outcome as the no. of coin tossed increases Here, you have more of your desired outcome by going only for locked-in signal

This is why I trade D1 TF as all I need is to open my platform, fetch for the lock-in every 2hrs per day at the open of a daily candle and go on with my daily activity outside fx
Yes double double Nice!!! Contine to Keep it up...Buh, I want to basket pips too |

jorel1: If you made this trade , stay with it to take out current years low ...that 4hr TF bullish trend development likely wont hold water. There is no point catching a trade at a good price and wasting the opportunity with peanuts. I Second...waiting for a better price to short this one |

jorel1: leaving my open trades till next week and it moving in my anticipated direction would amount to about 800% in profit excluding withdrawals made.. Before you say I am extravagant gambler , I have a constant risk of 2000 pips irrespective of trading equity , so even if I trade $500 , then its $0.2 a pip if I trade $2000 , then its $1 a pip if I trade $2000 000 , then its $1000 a pip If this equity drops as a result of failure within a trading week , then I have to go back one step behind to adjust the $ a pip to result to 2000 pip risk. so at the end of the day my broker isnt acting like my parallel bank ,rather every dime of my money is actively making more money for me. The difference between this and those making 10% profit in 3 months is that this management technique hasn't got a dormant buffer , its only buffer is the accuracy of your trading strategy + a steady calculated withdrawal process. This is position sizing aspect of my trading system... Nice!!! |

jorel1: Well, in as much as i applaud your tendencies of trying to make people feel good irrespective of the prevailing situation, you still need to tell the hard truth. However Those who gave him advice only gave their candid opinion and tip , the fact they didn't sound emotional about it doesn't mean they are poaching on his situation.
Even as medium to long term trader , I never lose up to 200 pips in a week...but for a day trader losing more than 350 pips , something isn't right. A system isn't just about knowing when to buy and sell, it comprises a whole lot all in one.
I played with close to a 100 systems although repeatedly for some b4 i finally seem to get it right..even at that i still subject it to routine review once in a while.. I don't know how long pipsh has been trading but it takes time maybe years to get a whole system right...so in his case Maybe he isn't there yet ( having an established system ) so he needs to keep simulating and manipulating systems until he gets it not necessarily right but at least in the right direction.
So pipsh , they say you are a honest trader but don't see how that makes one a better trader so i suggest you take advice from those with strong critics giving you the hard truth ( not me offcourse ) and not necessarily the ones given to make you feel good... Word! I 100% second this post A Trading system consists of the trading strategy, Risk Reward Ratio and Money management you cannot afford have a win rate of let's say 20%, RRR 1:2, Risk/trade 2% (even if you risk 0.00001%), with time this account will be blown out. Do some math pipsharig and try to review your system if you know it's working as suppose. Those three must compliment each other and those three are all it takes and emotion management too for one to be successful in this biz. |
