I saw the G sign on my phone, this i am told means there is GPRS network in my area. i use MTN, so i text SETTINGS to 3888 for my configuration. i was prompted by MTN to install some settings sent to me, this i did. to my surprise, i discover i coul browse. but i can only browse the MTN site. i am unable to access other sites. after a lot of research, i discovered that it is only the wap settings that is enabled.
i was sent sent 3 profiles from MTN. one 4 WAP
one 4 GPRS
one 4 MMS
pls, i dscovered the GPRS settig is not complete. pls i need someon to help me out.
i need the following:
APN
USRNAME
PASsWORD
IP ADDRESS
DNS ADDRESS
AUTHENTIFICATION
INTERNERT MODE: WAP OR HTTP
PROXY ADDRESS
PORT NUMBER
PLS i will be happy if any one van help out wit any of this settings.

pls, can any body help. i have tried my best in trying to set my phone to browse. the only page i access is that of mtn. i guess the gprs is not working it is on the wap that is working. pls who can help me with the gprs settings. pls drogba kindly help me out. my email is emmertof@yahoo.com Pls i will appreciate anybodies assistance.

celtel is a failure. they reduced there free sms,
they charge on there night calls, even though they say they are doing it at a reduced rate,
no gprs and wap,
they charge for thier m2u service,
the introduction of the UNITY rate is even the worse. u are charged as much as 3,000 something a month for migrating. migrating is supposed to be free.

after all this what is so great about celtel.
