I'm a software developer I can develop a fullstack website using node, django and laravel( using RESTful API)
I develop mobile app too with react native (I can use flutter too).

I didn't wish to have a low end system, if I have money I would have gotten something better since its for my own good.

I'm a student with no sponsor and the price of things has skyrocketed now. Any money you see now is to cater for food until someone sail through this hard economy.

I just need an IT skill and at least to be comfortable with front end development before graduation

Aside checking the requirements of the software you intend to download which is very necessary, as a programmer you should follow trend.

In your own case, try and upgrade your system to 64bits with windows 10 running. because you will always come across issues like this when you want to install some other softwares.

When I started programming I always look for 32bits softwares and thinking windows 7 was the best, Not until my mentor advised me to upgrade my system to windows 10 and 64bits and that was it.

The ram and hard drive install in your pc, what are there sizes respectively?

2GB and 250GB.. Is it upgradeable to 64bits and Windows 10

will advice you use Vs code because pycharm will lag on that system.

Download Vs code and then python extension for it and you are good to go.

Before downloading any piece of software, make sure you go through it’s requirement info and check for compatibility with your machine.
I believe there should be a variant for 32-bit machines.

I try to but couldn't get enough information for that.. I just saw the latest software with no previous edition. I thought it could work for my though. I'll try check it out again. Thanks

Download Vs code as alternative and use it with python extension. Also note that latest python version doesn't work on windows 7. So you may have to use python 3.7 or so.

I downloaded python 3.7.3 and its fine just that the PyCharm is not working

I have forgotten how I downloaded mine. You need to download the community own and not the professional.

Watch out for the bit and its compatibility.

It was the the community edition I downloaded but it's not working

I got an old PC to start learning programming and I try starting with python. But I try installing PyCharm but it's not installing it's giving a response that the app can't work on a 32bits PC.



Please what can I do, or any other alternative software.
The PC is a dual core, 2GB RAM and still operating on Windows 7
