U can't get Law in UNN. Absu is Abia state Uni abi? U've got hope in Absu but not UNN

For those that chose UI as their second choice regardless of ur scores, pls don't put all ur hopes on UI. Focus on ur 1st choice and let UI be ur plan B.

I hope this post won't sound harsh, rude or blunt. This is for those who scored below 220 and chose UI as their second choice.
Jossy4luv said dat UI will invite all those who scored above 200 and chose UI as their 1st or/and 2nd choice for P.ume abi? What makes u think u have a chance esp if u chose a competitive course eg Medicine, Law, Engr, accounting and d likes? U think d Jamb score will be useless? Let's consider these scenarios:
1, If UI decides to use the same method with Funaab, u'd @ loss
2, If UI decides to use the same method with Unilag, u'd be @ loss
3, If UI decides 2 use d Jamb score as the departmental cut-off mark as a determinant 4 P.ume, u'd still be @ loss.
Whatever method UI decides 2 use, the Utme result will still be included. So I advise all of u to go for small courses. If u think dat d cut-off mark is going 2 be low cos of mass failure then u're giving urself false hope. 736,000 scored above 200 dis year and Cbt is not included. 600,000 scored above 200 last year and the cut-offs were high. So u think iit's going to be low dis year? Pls change ur courses or institution so u can stand a better chance.

I don't know about that but i know that they won a medical competition among all Universities last year.

Wow!!!! The cut-off mark for medicine last year was 61 for indigenes. If u think u can make it then i suggest you leave it and start reading.

Cut-off mark in UNN is 200 while it's 180 in OOU

English edu was 62 last year abi? Better aim @ 29/40 in ur pume

OOU is located in Ogun state. The general cut-off mark is 180 in Jamb. Oou is a state Uni and is very liberal in giving admission. Change it 2 ur 1st choice and i can assure u admission if u pass the pume.

Der_Fuhrer: I understand what Dr Hesjay is saying, but I think I'm gonna go with Fb here. Take Unilag for example, as long as you score 200 and above you are invited for p-ume irrespective of your course and this is how the agg is calculated; jambscore/8 + pume score(which is over 100)/2, there by giving more power to their own exam and jamb has never complained that their credibilty is being undermined. UI will go for whatver method they wish but we have no official statementt yet so we can only assume.

Unilag is not undermining Jamb cos it's 50:50 i.e if u score 296 in jamb, 296/8= 37 and 80 in pume, 80/2=40. Add it together and u'll get 77 agg. It's fair

Oou is very very easy 2 enter. U just need 35/50 in ur post utme and u are good 2 go but make them ur 1st choice..

akonucheinfo: Yeah , I no u ve got a reason, we all ve reasons for being on this thread. Pls share ur reason with us, we learn and its a mistake we will hide from such in order not to write jamb again once admitted tnkx.

It's all based on ur personal decision. I chose to write Jamb again because i don't really like my present school, i'm just managing it.
