Politics › Re: ICPC Invites Dangote Over $7m School Fees Claim Against Ex-NMDPRA Boss by emmy9500: 7:54pm On Dec 21, 2025 |
Godfullsam: Dangote was aware of Farouk's reckless spending before now but decided to only voice out when is business is about to be affected.
The who think dangote is fighting for the interest of the masses should go and have a rethink.
Dangote is a coded politician and a business man combined.
He deliberately lowered the price of petroleum far below that of the importers before launching a serious fight against farouk lawal so as to gain public sympathy and trust.
He will later increase the price of petrol once he silence those issuing license to importers and force all petroleum marketers to depend on his product alone. By then, no one will be able to compete with him. He may even decide to buy up other small small modular refineries in the future.
I am not denying the fact that farouk lawal is a very corrupt man who should be jailed for life. But why is dangote just speaking out? This is an interesting unintelligent take, Focus on the issue weather it was dangote that expose it or it's Jesus it doesn't matter. When you have a 20B investment don't protect it with your swear and blood |

Market cap of Dangote cement alone as at May, 2025, is N7.5 trillion. Mcap is just no of shares X share price Valuation is more deeper. Zenith bank has a Mcap of over $1B but are valued under $300M |

Kukutente23: Benue nor dey get new yam na Almost no state in south west will import in new yam, most new yam are locally grown in the state The reason why south west state import yam is because of storage. peak yam season you will see truck of yam leaving southwest because they don’t have facilities to store them Ondo, OYO, Ekiti, Kwara are also top yam producing states in Nigeria |

Houseontherock1: Na...it's quite reasonable at 15k, even though it's new yam. Three of those will go for minimum of 7k in Ibadan because yam is sold in 3s. Well, I haven’t seen or price new yam for sale this year, so my pricing might be off…. When I was staying at Ijaye, a community after moniya I buy directly from the farmers and I am sure even with this Tinubu economy I won’t buy that yam from them for 15k (they might shock me sha) |

Besides that, is there any yam market as big as Zaki Ibiam Yam market in Ekiti? Have you been to yam Market in Garatu before in Niger? Even on the internet, Benue is the largest yam producing state in Nigeria. So you're the one battling myopia Because benue is the largest yam producing state doesn’t mean new yam will be more expensive than benue yam Even in OYO, when it’s yam season new yam is cheaper than “Abuja yam”. You people should leave internet and touch grass |
