Appearing on Channels TV, the national president of ASUU, Sir Fagge, confirmed the suspension of the ASUU strike for 2013, which began on July 1st.

All ASUU branches nationwide are by this announcement advised to resume work starting today, 17th Dec, 2013.

This has put to end any controversies about speculations that the ASUU strike as now been called off.

He made certain comments about general development on education in Nigeria, saying the Government is really not supposed to allow issues like this linger for so long before addressing them....

Bishop Oyedepo Corrected D’banj in Church, Tells him to Remove The Entire Bling-Bling On His Neck

The man of Lord at living faith belief Church world wide also referred to as Winners Chapel, Bishop D. Oyedepo did not get overly enthusiastic with all the current blings and swags of ex-Mohits star, Dapo Oyebanji generally referred to as D'banj once they came in contact.

We learnt that D'banj was lately approached to perform at a Youth programme in Covenant University where in fact the Bishop was also a particular guest of honour.

Those people present at the Event claimed that D'banj was presented by MC to step on stage for his performance, D'banj seemed on point in his standard bling-bling setting of dressing and when he was presenting his music, the extremely respectable Bishop Oyedepo stopped him.

According to eye watch witness, we were informed that the Bishop's gesture took everybody by shock when he told the ‘Fall in Love 'crooner to stop his performance.

It was learnt that the Bishop while trying to keep up the great standard of Christianity, informed D'banj to remove the whole bling on his neck and to be cautious of what he'd state on stage.

While a number of the those who were there said Bishop Oyedepo uttered the caution to D'banj jokingly, nevertheless, not just a few maintained that he meant every term he explained concerning the star artist.

He doesn't bleach? That hand could have fooled me. In an interview with Saturday Punch, former governor of Oyo State Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala, denied bleaching his skin and said anyone who says he's bleaching is very stupid.

During the interview, a Punch reporter asked him, 'Is it part of your own fashion to bleach?' OMG! Can't believe he asked that question straight up...lol. Big ups to the reporter.

Alao-Akala replied...

Bleach? That is stupidity; you are asking a very stupid question, how can I bleach? You are very stupid to ask that question. What do you mean by that? What gave you that impression?

(He pulled up his clothe and singlet to show his fair complexion.)

Is this bleaching? Have you seen the cream that I use that makes me bleach or did you know me when I was black? So if you want to write that, put it there that I said you are very stupid to ask me that kind of question. Don’t ask that kind of question again. What you don’t know; you ask. You don’t even know my parents. Is my wife complaining or my children? I don’t know what gave anybody the impression that I bleach. You don’t know me; do you know what it takes to bleach?
