Mogbe! It has not reflected on school portal yet. Please I need to know something. When jamb gives you the admission, would it automatically reflect on the school portal?

Hi. My younger sister got to Niger delta university. (I.e through jamb) the school portal is still saying admission in progress. Please
1. How do we accept the admission on the jamb portal?
2. Can we proceed with registrationprocess on the school portal?
3. The course she was given on jamb is not what she applied for, they are asking us to change the course first before printing out admission letter. But jamb is saying you can do it just once. How do we go about it?
1. Check Here: How to Reject/Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS.
2. Proceed Only When It Reflects On School Portal

3. She Should Apply For Change Of Course. That's If She Didn't Meet Her Course Cut Off Mark.

Education › JAMB Recommends 1.6M Candidates For 2017/18 Admission by emmyw(op): 7:08am On Jan 29, 2018
According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, over 1.6 million candidates have been recommended for admission into various tertiary institutions in the country for the 2017/2018 academic session.
https://www.ngschoolz.com/wp-content/uploads/JAMB-UTME.png
The Board’s Head of Media, Dr. Fabian Benjamin made the announcement on Friday, January 26 in Abuja.

Of the 1.6 million candidates offered admission, only 500,000 have accepted their admission as at the time of filling this report.

Benjamin however stated that candidates were to accept their admission before the admission is said to be complete.

He attributed the increase to the flexibility of the cut-off marks and also the availability of data through the JAMB CAPS (Central Admission Processing System) which was introduced last year.

See also: How to Reject/Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS.

“We have over 500,000 accepted admission already. By the time the 1.1 candidates accept, we are now looking at 1.6 admission. So until the 1.1 candidates accept, by the time they accept, with the 500,000 that have accepted, we will have about 1.6 million accepted,” he said.

Mark Zuckerberg Loses $3.3 Billion After Changing Facebook News Feed

https://techviral.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/IMG-1-8.jpg

According to the latest reports, the founder of the social network giant Facebook, of course, the Mark Zuckerberg loses $3.3 billion after Facebook changes News Feed.

It was on Friday when the founder of the social network giant Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg’s shares fell 4.5%, this sum simply causing him to lose about $3.3 billion of its fortune.

Last Friday, we announced the new changes which were planned by the founder of the social network giant Facebook, of course, the well-known Mark Zuckerberg for Facebook.

Basically, the social network giant Facebook will display, in the News Feed, mainly the publications of friends and family, hence, passing to the background the content of pages, condemning brands, companies, products, and this will result in less views and less reach.

This will be a change that appeals to many, but certainly displeased many others, and this displeasure became evident shortly after the announcement of the changes, since the social network giant Facebook shares fell by 4.5%, which represented a loss of $3.3 billion for the founder of the social network giant Facebook, of course, Mark Zuckerberg and due to the social network giant Facebook he was the fourth richest man in the world.

This loss has made the founder of the social network giant Facebook, of course, Mark Zuckerberg, for the moment, a fortune of $74 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, losing the 4th richest man to Amancio Ortega, a business tycoon.

Especially for those who use the social network giant Facebook’s platform to see news, follow favorite brands, find out about information about companies, and other subjects less dedicated to people profiles of friends and family, these changes will not be advantageous, as for companies and brands that bet strong in placing content on their Facebook pages, since they will see a break in their statistics.

Education › JAMB Postpones UTME Mock Examination, 283,319 Registered For 2018 UTME So Far by emmyw(op): 4:07pm On Jan 09, 2018
The 2018 JAMB UTME Mock examination which was earlier scheduled to hold between January 22 and 24 has been moved to the first week in February.
https://www.ngschoolz.com/wp-content/uploads/JAMB-Candidates.jpg

The reason for the postponement was necessitated by the fact that some of the CBT centres located within campuses cannot be used due to the ongoing strike action by NASU.

However, the date for the main examination which was earlier scheduled to commence on March 9th, 2018 and end on March 17th, 2018 remains the same.

So far, 283,319 out of the expected 2 million candidates have registered for the 2018 UTME.
