We run an Information Technology Solutions company with very positive growth propsects. We are in need of Business Development Officers and I felt I should let my nairalander friends know of this. You might just have someone that fits the profile.

Requirements: B.Sc / HND in related fields of study.

1). Fluency in English Language - Good spoken english
2). Good written communication skills - respond properly to emails.
3). Ability to answer telephone calls with courtesy and intelligently also
4). Very skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Tools: Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel mostly.
5). Have good computer usage skills
6). Minimum 2 years IT Sales experience in marketing IT Solutions.

The Person / Coverage: No age limit. Excellent people-skills, out-going, persuasive, determined, ability to perform even with minimal supervision. Background or experience in IT will be an added advantage.

And oh, never said Nairahost is not good. I've been making use of nairahost for years now and have never had reason to migrate; and don't think I will anytime soon - they have been nothing less than 'convenient' and 'reliable'. I only have some problem with this .com.ng thing which is a bother to me right now.

Are these people real? Can you vouch for them I got involved in one of them (http://www.investmentforexonline.com) and invested a small trial amount, till date my investment never got reflected in my account and the guys have never replied to any of my email inquiries on the issue.

Hi All,

I read the steps as given on nairahost.  I concluded with the register.net.ng people with the report from them that the Domain is now registered and active; but that is how far I have gone.

As advised by nairahost, I came back to inform nairahost that I have been given the green light that the domain is Verified OK and now active.  The only response I got from nairahost is that I should keep liaising with register.net.ng people - who till date have not responded to any of my mails.  Nairahost also have not helped further.

Can someone please help me with any useful info that will help me conclude my domain registration to the point where I can have access to start managing the domain and upload my website on it.  Or is there any other webhosting company that can properly handle this matter for me

Any useful help will be highly appreciated.

VACANCY: Systems / Network Support Engineers

Requirements: Engineering / Computer Graduates with minimum 2 years hands-on experience (not just head knowledge please) in the following:

1). Support & Administration of Windows Server 2003 Network Environment
2). Installation, Support & Adminnistration of Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Vista
3). Installation, Support & Administration of Microsoft Exchange 2003
4). Knowledge of Internet Sharing Setup using various Proxy / Internet Sharing apps such as Proxy / ISA Server
5). Email Client configuration for Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Clients
6). Installation and Support for various applications: Antivirus; MS Office 2003 / 2007; etc
7). TCP/IP Setup and other Network Configurations
. Computer Networking and Structured Cabling Skills
9). Systems hardware assembling and support skills
10). Provide User Support effectively over the Telephone
11). Basic Network troubleshooting and User Support skills / experience

MCP / MCSA will be an added advantage.

The Person / Coverage: No Age Limit - but this is a starter position. You will be required to provide support for Clients in Lagos state; as such it is required that you must be based (living in) Lagos state.
