Don't you guys make enquiries before you apply a job or something? Personally I don't apply a job without knowing some things about the organisation. I feel it is very important.

Their is this lady I helped to secured a marketing job with Access Bank with the help of a friend, after showing interest I asked her if she can work in Kaduna she said yes and added that accommodation will not be a problem because she once lived in Kaduna and she knew one or two people that she can stay with for sometime before she can get her own space. I said that is good. She did all her documentations online and they sent her APL. To cut the whole thing short, she refused to resume the work that she don't have a place to stay and that she heard the work will be very stressful and if she didn't meet up her target they will sack her blablabla so many excuses. I said it's okay, It's a matter of choice I can't force you but you should have make your enquiries and also open up before now

My point is that, try and know what you're getting yourself into before you disappoint your helper. Their are many people out there yearning and wishing for the opportunity you have at hand.

original civil status documents (e.g. birth certificate, marriage certificate, name declaration)

and, if necessary additionally
Proof of the authenticity of the document in the form of legalization or apostille
Translation by a sworn interpreter

My question is does the document has to be translated and notarized, if yes can you advise how to go about it , or link me with someone to legalize the documents.

He paid (5m) for a slot for one of the top class A agencies for more than a year now and the person he paid it to is AWOL.

Is there a way to retrieve the money?

The police are willing to track but I'm skeptical if it's actually legal to even pursue such a case via legal means.

Please any thoughts or advice.

My own opinion is it was not a good idea to even pay for the slot in the first place even though he claimed the person brought evidence of previous slots given to others ..(which now I believe we're forged).

If you apply for FAO Nigeria and got appointment letter please go ahead with what they asked of for it's not scam. I went to the office in abuja the advise is just to get the two certificates required on or before 25th of March and send to them. I'll be getting my Gendiq certificate tomorrow for a cheaper amount.
