We are quick to forget that this man is also a reflection of how we have failed as a society. We all have failed to make our leaders accountable to the task with which we entrusted them. I have no problem with the man's inability to read or write even if that is the case, the objective side of me asks if he has the wits to make reforms in the NPF that will help get rid of her bad public image, help secure lives and properties and fulfil the obligation of law enforcement without prejudice.

After all those who have occupied same position and spoke polished English with Victorian accent, what have we to show for it. I won't say it isn't disappointing that of all the qualified personnel in the ranks, we ended up with having somewhat of an illiterate as IGP.

There is a reason why igbos do extremely well when they migrate to societies that have meritocracy embedded in their system.

That's the same reason why you hardly see northerners accomplish anything outside Nigeria.

You make a good point OP, problem is I believe the point could be made without calling out any tribe or ethinicity.

It means you've successfully registered. You should get a mail confirmation within the next 24 hours or less

I guess BVN is supposed to be a personal thing. Why are they now asking for our BVN? Hope it won't backfire on our individual account on the long run.

The genius idea of incorporating the BVN is to nullify multiple entries application. I also think it will be of importance during the course of the schemes when finally selected applicants are to be remunerated
The probable situation here is if the web database is hacked such information would have been useful in the days BDCs were still receiving forex allocation from the CBN

We do cherish the progress we've made as a nation against all the odds. And like you said, there is nothing like the perfect process anywhere even in first world countries. But one won't be able to dispute the fact that our administrators have fashioned out a culture of either putting the cart before the horse or ensuring that nepotism takes priority over competence. It's time we learn how to take into consideration the hurdles facing any process and adopt our own solution instead of making same lame excuse of Rome not being built in a day

Yes you will need to input ur BVN in the second page of the registration form after selecting your preferred programme

I had the same problem too. Just got a mail confirmation from npower now despite not receiving the successful application submission page. What it means is that your mail has already been registered in their database. If you have filled the online form successfully to the last page and didn't get a confirmation, just give it some time

As amatter of fact, I'm beginning to doubt the transparency of the scheme when applicants data can't be integrated into their database hitch free. Unless it will be a random selection thing and not based on merit

Need an opinion on this scenario. I filled in all details but when I got to the submission page I got no successful submission confirmation. But now when I try filling the form again for resubmission it is rejecting my BVN, phone number and Email address. Thanks
