RomanceThe Sexuality Of Sex by emuharrison16(op): 9:13am On Jan 26, 2018
Hello!

We were raised to shun sexual conversations.
We were raised to run away from any gathering where sex was being discussed!
We were told that when it comes to sex, knowing next to nothing is the goal!

Now we have Parents who don't have any concrete information on sex and we have young adults who are so confused about it that they go about trying to find perfection in their sexuality.

Bodily chastity was put on the same pedestal as mental chastity.

No one wants to talk about sex!
Pastors preach its evils...
Teachers teach the dangers...
Parents beat for the fear of it...

Yet...

It is going on and on... There is...

Sex in the choir,
Sex in Secondary Schools,
Sex in Convents,
Sex in Cathedrals,
Sex under Parents' noses and amidst the tight security...

Sex is human nature... You can't cage nature.
Its a cosmic energy.

A law states that: "energy cannot be created or destroyed, but can be channelled or redirected in a way which we desire".

Sex was not created to be a mystery.
Stop mystifying it.

My name is Harrison Emu, and I want you to join me cut the crap out and let's talk about our sexuality.
I'll be putting up specific-targeted articles here and on the Whatsapp group infrequently.

HealthNirmala Chellaram In South South Nigeria by emuharrison16(op): 7:20pm On Sep 04, 2017
Today being a public holiday, Nirmala Chellarams Centre For Entrepreneurship Skills organized a Nationwide Meet a Mentor Event.
Here in South-South Nigeria, we decided to make sure as many of our team members attend this event as we believe it would help them find focus and attain a certain level of mastery which routine academics do not provide.
We made History today as we recorded over 50 young people who are part of our team actively participating in various states across South-South Nigeria and beyond.
A mentor rightly acknowledged us as the most supportive focal group in the Country.
We are positive that FGM will end in thus generation and we all would welcome a generation free and fair!

HealthFgm In South South Nigeria by emuharrison16(op): 6:09pm On Sep 04, 2017
FGM Snippet;

The fact that a very high number of mutilated girls and women here in the South, do not know if, or remember when they were mutilated, generally gives us a pointer that FGM is mainly carried out at childbirth in these areas.
Also we got to discover that Type 1 FGM or Clitoridectomy seem to be the most widely accepted here (with the inner labia sometimes slightly cut).

Whilst Clitoridectomy might look like an acceptable, well-meaning and mild form of FGM, it is still FGM, it is still not advised. It is still not acceptable.

Nerves will be damaged.
Blood vessels will be ruptured.
There'll probably still be scars.
Infections might still develop.
Sexual excitability might be dangerously hampered.

Whatever the kind of cutting you feel is 'safe' to practise, i tell you, it is NOT SAFE.

Let's put an end to FGM.
Not because someone tells us to.
But because we ourselves have discovered it to be antithesis to our indoctrinated ethos not as Africans but as humans.

Live and let live.
Say No to FGM.

Let's end it in this generation.
Let's usher in an FGM free #GenerationNext
SportsArsenal Number 1 Fan Decamps After Stoke Loss. by emuharrison16(op): 7:24pm On Aug 20, 2017
QUIT NOTICE!!!

It has been a lovely relationship and like every relationship, it had its ups and downs.
I've been devoted to Arsenal since October 2002, when I watched in awe as a "proper" team played my favourite game- 15 years a Gunner I think.

Today? Today was not the worst performance of the team that I've seen.
But there was No fight whatsoever and that spoke volumes of this sheep led by a goat of a team.

But even the Bible says: When I was a child, I thought and spoke like a child, now that I am a man... Some things have to change. Besides there's time for everything.

I realize I am a man now and I need a team of men.

Not all relationships were meant to last for ever.

Arsenè has not just succeeded in breeding despicable complacency but he has succeeded in introducing the same foul spirit into the boys.

I saw my boys making back passes and square passes at 73 minutes, and I realized Wenger had done it.
He has choked the very fabric of the club.

This team CANNOT be my team.
I am NOT a mediocre.
I have realized that I am more than this.
This is not the Arsenal I signed up for...

Therefore;

1. I have cancelled my membership plan on the Official Website.

2. I have unsubscribed from the weekly Arsenal Magazine

3. I have deleted all my Arsenal pictures.

4. I have unfollowed the entire team on all social Media Accounts.

5. Red is no longer my favourite colour.

So if Arsenal was what linked me and you together before, kindly note that the tie has been severed.
I am NO LONGER an Arsenal Supporter.

All documents remain valid.
General Public take note.

PS, don't shame me, the entire theatre here just watched me shed my last tear for AFC.
They consoled me but my mind is made up.
Alas!
The most vocal Internet Gunner has been dis-gunned.

I wish the Team well.

HealthHarrison Emu In Favour Of Female Advovacy In Nigeria by emuharrison16(op): 8:40am On Aug 19, 2017
MY SPEECH FOR FEMALE RIGHTS IN DELTA JUSTICE CLUB, EFFURUN, DELTA STATE.

Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Harrison Emu and I have a burning urge to tell you this;

It is well documented that no sector holds as much promise in development like the women sector.
Over 70% of the world's illiterate population are women and over 60% of this population directly comes from Africa.
Over 1.3 billion people lack access to electricity and again most of these figures are from sub-saharan Africa. 25% of every FGM/C case is from my country-Nigeria.
Without electricity, without literacy our women mostly are exposed to medical risks in child delivery and maternity care, in access to safe water, in lacking the basic right to choose when and who to marry, they even cannot have a say in the genital mutilation of their own bodies.
All these point to a failing state and contribute to a declining economy. I believe it is no co-incidence that the best economies in the world are those that give women a chance to be all that they can be. If we as sub-saharan Africans can emulate the better placed economies and give women a chance to rise up and cause positive changes, I believe Africa would rise again. I end by saying this ageless quote "The test of real supremacy in a state lies in the freedom of its people".
I believe every person has a specific niche area and knows where they want to effect their idea of change. Since the turn of the 21st century, I believe the Internet and indeed Social Media is a Game-Changer. Over 2 Billion people use Facebook alone.
WhatsApp has a huge number also. Social Change Communication has never been this focal in history.
I believe I bring a new rhythm to the song . I think I will be a breath of fresh air. I believe if we want to make a presence, then we must take over the Internet. I bring enthusiasm, wit, diligence, creativity, sparkle and I bring youth to the table.
We are changing the world, one girl at a time.
Thank You.
