I need some advice from you guys! All of my male friends claim to be MC's and they all have some good lines that they keep dropping on me. They seemingly keep it to sex and try and make me look stupid during our nights out together. I need some advice/tips on beating the boys, is it ok to be personal, they are! Hi! I'm new here & new to rapping, after having a lifelong love affair with hip hop I decided to try and write my own. This is one of my first & describes getting pregnant with my first baby. I know its not all that and defo not rap battle material but hey feel free to give me some pointers! I have written a few but this little verse was my first one & I love it because its for my daughter, so here goes!!

17 years old with the pregnancy test in my hand,
Wipe the tear out my eye and take my head out the sand,
I knew that I had to grow up and fast,
That second line hit me like a massive blast,
But I already knew I loved her like no other,
And I'd do what I had to to be a good mother,
Teach her the right path and how to behave,
When life gets tough show her how to be brave!

I know its short it just popped in my head one day. I do have some different ones but that one is my fave
