He is right in a sense though some duties and responsibilities are not tied to a calling that is exciting and fun but must be taken care of.

it is not only the responsibilities an duties. some times the work environment contributes to why we feel reluctant to go to work

It is funny because i actually do enjoy what I do, but it takes all of my willpower not to bury my face in my pillow and call in sick every morning. Especially on monday mornings or morning after hoildays. Pheww!

money is not everything, while i agree that it is an important factor i cannot say it is the most important. of what use is it if you have job financial security but you are miserable?

read, i quite agree with you if you dont have any experience and you just got an offer negotiate is not the best. you should get in first and then walk your way to the top
