Good day seniors.

I’m due in Manitoba by the end of this month. I’m currently looking for accommodation. Any advice on which areas I should avoid?

Pls can you share the process with me
You apply to the province or territory for nomination under a non-Express Entry stream.
You need to meet the eligibility requirements of the province that nominates you.
Once you have been nominated, you submit a paper application for permanent residence to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
You have to pass a medical exam and get a police check (certificate).
Application processing times are longer than through Express Entry. It’s a paper based application.

Pls enlighten me , isn't PNP nomination only meant to boost applicant's crs score for FSW application?. Does PNP leads to copr straight without going through FSW at some point ,
You can continue a PR application via PNP without going through the express entry process. It takes longer. That’s how I got mine.

@Enajegbe, their is no way to tell if your medicals has been extended or you need remedical. You have these options

1. Raise a web form asking if you need to redo medicals or is it extended?

2. Raise GCMS and check the categorisation of your medicals. Their is a category that is often (not always) given 6 months extension after expiry. Their is the other category that will surely need to redo medicals before issuing ppr.

3. Just go ahead and do new medical, raise CSE and attach evidence of new medicals

4. Stay put, be patient and wait for IRCC to direct you on next line of action (which could be PPR).

If I was in your shoes, I will stick to option 4, when I get really tired and disturbed I will opt for option 3.

BTW Option 1 is the least reliable option.

Wishing you all the best.
Thank you so much. I guess I would just go with option 4 as adviced.

I’m guessing the last paragraph isn’t for me as I don’t have a NOC issue.

Hello everyone,

I’m under the PNP stream. I submitted my Medicals on the 8th of May last year, a little over a year ago. It’s supposed to have expired but I’m yet to receive PPR or a request to redo it.
I contacted IRCC and was told my application is still ongoing... I read somewhere that some people’s Medicals were extended but I haven’t received any update from IRCC to that effect.
I’d like to know if this extension is true and if there’s anyone on here in the same situation as me.

Thanks

Hey guys, how is everyone doing? Can't believe I'm already on my 6th month in Canada and it's not been easy but I don't regret the move one bit. Learning so much, currently working, also preparing to take some qualification exams in May. Anyone looking to learn about the process of practicing as a lawyer in Canada, you can hit me up. Anyone in the GTA and Durham region looking to take advantage of the drop in mortgage rates as well hit me up.
Hello Jennypharb1,

I’m a Nigerian trained lawyer who hasn’t been in active practice although I plan to practice in Canada by the grace of God.

I would really appreciate it if you can put me through the process of joining the Canadian Bar Association.

My immigration application is ongoing and I hope to be in Manitoba before the end of this year.

If it’s possible, kindly provide a means to reach you directly. If not, please help me drop the necessary info on here. Or reach me via email on: enajegbeeghe@yahoo.com

Thank you.

Good day boss,

I’m interested in this Zoom session. I followed the link provided and it led me to my App Store to download the Zoom app.
I have downloaded the app and i signed up as well but each time I click on the link, it still directs me to my App Store even though I now have the app and have registered.

If it wouldn’t be a bother, kindly help send the link again.
Hope to hear from you!
