elewedu: I will be taking my first live trade this week. Because of my work schedule, plus the fact that I find it very stressful trading lower timeframes, , I will be taking setups on 4hr TF only . I will keep lurking arround the thread to refill my confidence in this bussiness, be inspired by the success stories here and also to bolster the little knowledge I have garthered in my six months of demo trading. I am looking at focusing on my psychology for the next three month, see how my emotions will come to play as compared to demo trading. As it stands now I am not driven by the profits but by the sincere desire to master to the extent of calling the bluff of my employer. I know it will take time, you can never read experience in any textbook.....but am convinced that someday I will trade like naijababe, endfx, rozayx5, pipnomics,pip love-vendor,oliverpin........Please wish me success in this new endeavour. Have a pipfull week ahead

fxisreal: out of the 3 strategy i detect from his detail statemt, i will mention one he place trades at psychological levels with SL and another standby position on the otherside should incase the sl hit to continue the buy/sell stop. this will either reduce his first position loss or give him further gain.

this is what i expect mate to be doing rather than ......., dont just look at the action of trader rather than what u will gain from the action

Pipsland78: Why is it that any forex trader who decides to open his own thread gets attacked by other forex traders? Must we all join the "forex trade alerts" thread? This thread has so many fakers and losers who only boast with no proof of their claims, so there is nothing bad in having a thread where forex trading is made more practical and people can actually relate with it - enough of those abstract terminologies.

Instead of hating why cant fellow forex traders support that one trader who is able and willing to proof that forex is real and profitable? Why are we (forex traders) our own worst enemy?

And if you must know, I've been trading forex longer than most folks in here. I will NEVER ask to trade for anybody or ask anyone to invest with me. If you knew my other moniker you would keep quiet; I'm sure Surveyprof knows though.

And there is nothing bad in bragging about your earnings after the day/week's hard work as long as you dont do it to pull others down, so please I dont want folks in here to feel intimidated or jealous as we are partners in thesame business.

I will keep posting my live account at the end of every week to show how the account grows. This will help prove that forex is real and profitable. It will also help boost confidence in this business and will help shut ignoramuses like Seun up for good.

ayox2003: Just wanna share this for newbies.

During NFP there some things one should note:

1) Never jump into the market, other fundamentals are "jumpable", dont try it with NFP.

2) Its always advisable to have pending orders, if they get triggered, good. If they dont, your money is safe.

3) Because of the volatility of the market, you can reduce your lot size if you can't go with your normal lot-size or if your emotions are gonna be battered.

4) Wait for the market to stabilize after NFP before you trade. Market no dey go anywhere!

infofirst: For me, EJ Bid price = EU BID PRICE * UJ BID PRICE = 1.3210 * 97.43 = 128.70, So since it is a two side equation, when ej is moving, it has d chance of either moving eu or uj and when eu moves, it will affect ej and same to when uj move, When uj moves very well in the bull side, and eu move heavily in d bull side, then ej will go wild in the bull side.The contribution of uj is more to ej than eu and so when uj moves very well, ej will move in that direction even when eu moves in the opposite.

There are times when correlation works and atimes, it does not, so i think that one of the reason why i stop trading ej and gj cos they can be affected by more than one pair n uj seems normal to me. But it is better to first look at what a particular pair is saying first before looking at correlation...
