WHY DID GOD CREATE THE DEVIL?

To leave religion, the only thing one needs to do is THINK. Critical thinking will unravel what your religious guides call mysteries.

There are no mysteries in religion. The only reason they call absurd tales mysteries is because they do not make any sense.

Let us examine God and the Devil. Every thinking being knows that if there be an omniscient God, who is loving and caring, there won't be a Devil.

It is alleged that God created Lucifer, the angel of Light, who rebelled in heaven and was thrown down to earth to torment man.

The big question is: why should a good God, an all-knowing God, a caring God, create the Devil?

If God knew that the Devil would turn out to be a rebel, and still went on to create him, God is malevolent and unworthy of worship.

If God didn't know that the Devil would turn out to be a deceiver and went on to create him, God could be forgiven but it shows that God is not omniscient.

I have examined the rationale behind the creation of the Devil and it appears to me to be the most stupid, useless, heartless, inhuman invention of religion.

The creation of the Devil by God, according to religious people, shows the mysterious ways of God. For my part, it is one of the most puerile thoughts that ever entered the brain of men.

It is an insult to a God, if there be one. It is not a mystery.

It is perfectly invented to deceive the gullible and to hoodwink the unthinking.

No father would create a monster for his children. No father will put a snake in the midst of his children and allow the snake to kill them.

Any father who does that is a monster that deserves execration.

If a father could not by any means give his children something as dangerous as a snake, why should an omniscient God create the Devil to torment His children?

Who can give me one reason why a good and omniscient God should create the Devil?

What was His purpose? To make the Devil deceive man so that He will have the opportunity and pleasure of burning them forever?

Why did God create the Devil?

Why is it that God cannot do without the Devil?

If the Devil should suddenly die, would God create another?

Does it take anything but common sense to know that the Devil is an invention of religion?

Does it take anything to know that no God has ever saved a starving child, a drowning man, a girl on the verge of rape?

Where man has been succored, has it not always been the work of another man?

Of what use have the Gods been to man?

Who will tell me one thing God has done to stop murder, kidnapping, rape, arson, etc?

Who will give me a reason why worshippers would be mercilessly butchered inside the church by bandits while God watched and did absolutely nothing?

If a God cannot save man in distress and trouble, why should He be worshipped?

Again, why did a good God create the Devil? And then killed his innocent son to save us from sin and leave devil alive the supposed origin of sin? If you believe the Bible stories the picture below describes you

1. Even without explanation, I know there's no hell neither heaven, both are fallacy to trap the people to work in accordance.

Religion is a tradition and way of life of the people who owns it, in other to control the minds of the world,they decided to spread their traditions across which has now affected the belief system of many people which in turn has shaped their world view and life.

Ever wondered how Angels bear human names like Angel Micheal, Gabriel and so, not even humans name but Greek and Jewish names, what happened if we have Angel Etim, Angel Emeka, Angel Yetunde, and so on.

Religion has destroyed our identity, authenticity as Africans that we now despise our own way of life just to accept another which has even affected our architectural designs,dressing,language, cultures, tradition and world view.

We are Africans by names but in belief and way of life it is a mixture of European,Jewish,Arabic e.t.c which shows how fake we are as Africans.

The easiest way to control human is by controlling what the belief in,with this you can control how the act in reality, this is what Europeans did to Africans.

Everything they told us about God is fallacy, nobody knows anything about God nor Afterlife.

THE INVENTION OF HEAVEN AND HELL (this is a long post .. probably a 15 mins read, don’t bother reading if you don’t have 15 mins of your time to spare) . this post is proudly brought to you by EnemyofGod3.

A full account of how the concept of heaven and hell myth was invented especially of the abrahamic religion and most especially Christianity would fill up a whole book.. so this post would be more of a critical summarisation of how hell was invented in Christianity.

To truly understand where this myth came from .. we need to start with the Classical Greek philosopher Plato who existed about 400 years before Christianity and 300 years before apocalyptic Judaism existed ..and arguably the most influential western philosopher ever who taught a kind of dualistic view of humanity…

According to Plato , we have a mortal body made up of coarse destructible material and a soul , made up of an extremely fine indestructible material .. so according to Plato who was actually a pagan Greek philosopher “the body can be killed , but the soul by its very nature is indestructible”

What happened to a persons soul when they died according to Plato ? Well we could get an idea of His view by examining some of his writings. In “Plato’s republic” a book written about 375BC by Plato we find “the myth of er “

In this story, a man named Er dies and is separated from his body and is taken along with others who have died to a place where judges sit next to holes in the sky and earth one at a time when the souls receive judgement .. the just were sent up through a hole in the sky, the unjust were send down through a hole in the earth called the underworld.

Those who descended to the underworld had their misdeeds punished ten times over for a period of 1 thousand years , the pure souls who were sent into the sky were rewarded for their good deeds with blissful revelry for thesame amount of time.

The worst of the impure souls who had committed the worst of the crimes were condemned to a special section of the underworld forever where savage men tortured them.

When the other souls completed their 1 thousand years for rewards and punishments , they were each given a choice at to what type of body they would like to be reincarnated into.. with the choices ranging from animals to wealthy rulers.. they then where made to drink from the river of forgetfulness before being reincarnated .. Er was not allowed to drink and was sent back into his body to serve as a messenger for others so that people may remember to live virtuously .

Plato presents this story as just A STORY. It’s not an historical account .. still it represents one version of an idea that is integral to Plato’s view that influenced alot of peoples thinking.. that souls exist and are immortal and will in proportions to their deeds in life receive rewards or punishments after the death of the body .. due to his influence in Greek thought , this became the common view of the afterlife in Greek culture. A culture Highly influential in the world of early Christians . More on that later.

Given the fact that Christianity has its roots in Judaism, I should also explain the ancient Jewish ideas surrounding the soul and the afterlife.

Now early Jews who authored the Hebrew Bible .. the one Christians today call “the Old Testament” did not have a dualistic view of humanity. When the body died, the person does not survive ..and this can be seen in what is quite possible according to scholars that oldest book in the Old Testament .. the book of job.

“ but a man dies and is laid low,he breathes his last and is no more, as the water of a lake dries up or a river bed becomes parched and dried, so he lies down and does not rise .. till the heavens are no more .. people will not awake or be roused from their sleep” - job 14:10-12

There was no such thing as heaven and hell in early Jewish thinking. People would wanna point to the term “Sheol” found in the Old Testament dozens of times. Is this not the Old Testament way to refer to hell? In one word , the answer is NO. Sheol is not and was never described as a place of conscious torment or punishment or even a place of consciousness at all.

In many places throughout the Jewish Bible( Old Testament) Sheol was used as a synonym for death, grave or pit containing a corpse. It was a place where EVERYBODY went to when they died .. either good or bad.

In short , the Jewish people who authored the Old Testament or the Jewish Bible , did not believe in an immortal soul .. a conscious afterlife of rewards and punishments in an afterlife. However … because Jews started to bring up the problem of justice … that why would everyone including Jews and the people who have occupied their land ,make them suffer and have taken them captives would go to the same place and suffer thesame fate at the end Sheol?

So

There is an ancient way of thinking we need to understand that tries to explain this to the Jews before we get to the hell of Christianity. In fact, this is the most fascinating and important part of the understanding of the origins of the concept of hell and heaven.

It’s called Jewish apocalypticism ..

The Jewish apocalyptic view of bodily death and resurrection. Apocalypticism was a very common view among Jews about 200 years before Jesus and during Jesus time .. in this view , evil forces they called demons and principalities and wilful powers like sin had gained control of the world .. which is why so much suffering and political turmoil existed.

For the Jews who had been constantly made victim of military conquest, foreign occupation by the babylonians , Persians ,romans etc and religious persecution around that time , there was a lot of evil and suffering to explain .. especially If the land they occupied was the promised land and they were yahweh’s chosen people. Why would they be constantly conquered and occupied by foreign rule .. the Jewish prophets had questions to answer .. that Is where they came up with Jewish apocalypticsim .. the one you would find especially in the book of Daniel.

The authors of Daniel were true apocalypticist they had to explain to the Jewish people why the foreigners were ruling them and making them suffer in the promised land that yahweh gave them.

So according to the Jewish apocalypticst Yahweh was soon to intervene,any day now , Yahweh would soon intervene and would take back control from the forces of evil and establish a utopian kingdom on earth here with the help of a messiah. And judge all people based on how they lived .. if a person sided with Yahweh or yahwehs people the Israelites and was righteous , they would be rewarded with an admission to his earthly kingdom (kingdom
Of god) where they will live eternally .

And by the way , according to the Jewish apocalypticism , that kingdom would be headquartered In Jerusalem .. a new Jerusalem. People who sided with the forces of evil will be destroyed and wiped out of existence completely.

Now according to Jewish apocalyptic thinking it wouldn’t be fair if only those who are alive at that time would be judged , so Yahweh in fairness would bodily resurrect everyone who had ever died and subject them to the same judgement ..

the ones who sided with yahweh would be bodily resurrected from the dead and join the new kingdom of god headquartered in a new Jerusalem on earth eternally .. while everyone else would be destroyed and forever forgotten .. this is the line of thought of of the infamous John the Baptist ,the Pharisees , the authors of the book of Daniel and yeshua Ben Yosef (Jesus the son of Joseph) among others at the time.

As Jesus said at the start of the oldest gospel of mark and the most important .. the very first words he was recorded to have said

“ the time has come , the kingdom of god is at hand, repent and believe the good news” - mark 1:15

Yes , Jesus was another Jewish apocalyptic prophet. Critical scholars generally agree that Jesus was an apocalyptic prophet of Judaism …and that his most attested teachings (teachings that they agree could be traced back to Jesus himself, because a lot of his claimed sayings that we find in subsequent gospels like Luke or John especially were forgeries and could not be traced back to him and were inconsistent with his best attested teachings) were very very consistent with apocalypticism.

The forces of evil reigned for a time but that time is coming to an end gods(yahwehs) kingdom is about to be established on earth so repent so you may enter into it . Jesus or yeshua like most apocalyptic thinkers actually thought that this was going to happen very very soon .. even within the life time of his disciples ..

He said to them in multiple places .. e.g “ truly I say unto you , some who are standing here would not taste death before they see that the kingdom of god has come to power” mark 9:1

But clearly that didn’t happen .. early Christian’s waited and waited for gods kingdom to arrive but it never did. Once a generation had passed , and everyone alive at the time of Jesus had died , what were Christians to do ? Give up hope and admit that Jesus was wrong ? No .. that couldn’t be it..there had to be another explanation they thought ..what if they just misunderstood Jesus teachings ?

This is where the Greek ideas I discussed earlier become very relevant ..most early Christians were not Jewish in origin as according to the Jews , jesus didn’t fulfil the prophesy of the messiah that was expected by the Jewish people .. the Jewish messiah was supposed to be a military ruler or king like king David or Moses who came to deliver the Jewish people from evil and the hands of foreign oppressors ..

the word “messiah” literally means “anointed one” and only kings of isreal are anointed and called anointed one. The people who crucified Jesus believed him to be king of the Jews as rumored ..that was why they crucified him as they didn’t want any uprising or sedition during the Passover festival. Jesus was crucified for sedition. Nothing more.. and he wasn’t alone .. romans crucified dozens of people every day.

The whole ressurection story was a rumor that Jews didn’t believe and for very very good reasons. Nothing about Jewish apocalypticsm involved anyone dying and resurrecting. Jesus to them was a failed prophet. And history tells us they were right 100%.

So Like I said, this is where the Greek thought I discussed earlier becomes relevant.. the vast majority if not all of early Christian’s were converted Greek pagans and did not have Jewish origins or ideology of apocalypticsm ..and were from cultures surrounding the Mediterranean … this area at the time had strong Greek cultural influences. I mean the gospels themselves were written in Greek even tho the characters in them would have spoken primarily Aramaic.

At that time, Wether you were a Christian familiar with the apocalyptic view and were looking for a new interpretation of Jesus message or more likely a newly converted Greek pagan (the ones who wrote the gospels) who has just heard the Jewish teachings for the first time without ever knowing Jewish apocalyptism , it would have been very easy to see Jesus teachings through the lenses of a platonic or Greek mythological lens.

Perhaps as in Greek myths , evil people would be punished after death and their souls would be thrown into a fiery torment and since souls according to Plato are immortal by nature , the torment would last forever. That’s how the idea of hell entered the whole picture.

What about the end of mark chapter 9?. There Jesus says …” if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out ..it is better for you to enter the kingdom of god with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into gahenna where the worms that eat them do not die … and the fire is not quenched ..”

Many early Christian’s who had greek origins could have easily thought that this mysterious Gahenna refereed to the destination of wicked souls after death where they’d burn in eternal flame …this in fact the interpretation that would eventually become most popular among most Christian’s..

but it fails terribly to acknowledge two pieces of information that not only was Jesus speaking apocalyptically ,but gahenna was a real earthly place found at the outskirts of old Jerusalem .. its where babies were normally sacrificed in ancient Israel.

It was first mentioned in Joshua 15:8 where it was called the valley of the son of hinnon or in Hebrew “hey Ben hinnon” .. it was greatly reviled among earthly Jews because as I said it was once the site of child sacrifice

In 2nd kings 23:10 , it said that molech a cannanite deity received child sacrifices there .. in other to put an end to this this passage said king Josiah desecrated the valley by burning it . This Place is mentioned many more times in the Hebrew bible often at a place where Yahweh would pile up corpses of the the wicked at the end of time.

Most early Christian’s who were mostly Greeks would not have been aware of the extensive Jewish context of apocalypticsm .. so it would not be hard to see how this teachings of Jesus when viewed through the lenses of Greek thinking looked like something very different.


So hell as a concept is really an invention of converted pagan Greek Christians .. who tried to explain why the kingdom of god that Jesus preached hadn’t come .

Today you sees confusion of different Christian sects and denominations holding one view of resurrection of the body for judgment in a future rapture and another denomination who believes that once you die , your soul faces judgement and other rather paradoxically believing in both concepts..

Of course the idea has evolved and evolved over the millennium since then..with ideas like purgatory for instance but this is just a general idea of its origins.A mythological invention of a combination of Jewish apocalyptic thinking and Greek platonic thinking. A mythological place that doesn’t exist in reality.

In heaven there is no inventions like Aeroplane or Helicopters, so they make do with horses. There are different horses in heaven. Black horse, white horse, etc. They are all in the book of revelation. The biggest of the horses is the one specially prepared for Jesus to ride to the earth to blow the trumpet on the day of rapture. I am sure the missiles of the earth can't kill the horse.

If you make it to heaven, you will think you travelled back in time to very ancient days of our ancestors, like 60,000 years back because there is no computer to record information or take videos. What we have are scrolls. They have billions of scrolls in heaven where they wrote the names of everyone. But only one of the scrolls contain names of good people. It is called the BOOK OF LIFE. The pen they used to write those names is made up of turkey feathers and red ink made of blood.

If all these things I say up here is not the accurate picture of heaven, let the Almighty God take my life before the end of today. Amen in Jesus name!!!

As a human being, how do you create things?

Let's say you want to build a 2 bedroom apartment, what are the steps to take?

1. At first the house is nothing but an IDEA in your mind - it is not visible - in religious terminologies, you could say the house is only existing in the spiritual realm.

2. You give a brief to an architect who then makes a detailed drawing of the 2 bedroom apartment - at this stage the house/your idea is still not visible - it only exists on paper.

3. After the drawing is approved, you move to site and after the surveyor maps out the area, you buy cement, building blocks, sand, gravel and you pay for the mansory, etc.

4. When all of these is completed, that IDEA which was at first incoporeal, invisible and spiritual has now become a reality, visible and physical.

If that is how finite beings like us create, how much more our father who is infinite?

The entire cosmos with its billions of planets, black holes, galaxies and suns is nothing but an IDEA in the infinite mind of God which has manifested as a reality in our 3 dimensional plane of existence.

In English, we misinterpret the LOGOS and simply call it the WORD.
