Islam only allows wars if it is done with the intention of self-defense. Self-defense can both be direct and preemptive.

The Prophet SAWS never engaged in aggression and he always preferred peace, but when it was necessary, he would engage in self-defense. He also placed strict rules in combat for all Muslims to follow:

Do not cut down trees

Do not damage buildings

Do not target civilians

Do not terrorize the population

Target only soldiers of the enemy

Be merciful if the enemy gives up

Do not continue battling if the enemy surrenders

These are only some of the rules.

-- Some people would argue that peace cannot exist alongside war, but this is a fallacy, because in order to protect peace and order, you would have to defend it, whether by diplomacy or militarily, if necessary.



Imagine a country that’s being attacked. They get killed, oppressed and they don’t do anything to defend themselves. Where’s the logic?

If not, imagine someone trying to break in your house and steal everything, rape all people inside. What would you do? Let them? Or fight them?



He only went to war after being:

Exiled from his hometown

Surviving multiple assassination attempts

Having his daughter mortally wounded

Having several of his early followed tortured and martyred.

Having their properties seized

I don't know about you. But I too would've been really miffed at this. Even then they waited an year for the revelation to come before departing on their first campaign.

The message that was sent to the prophet (pbuh) was the final message so it was important that it is preserved and defended. If the prophet (pbuh) didn't fight back the message would've died with him in Makkah.

Islam is a religion of peace, but when your livelihood, personal rights and religion is at stake, you're allowed to pick up a weapon. Violence is only discouraged in Islam for personal reasons like disputes and verbal harassment, it's fairly similar to decent human expectations.



If someone opressors you – punches you repeatedly, despite your attempts to deeacalate the issue and go for a peaceful confrontation, are you going to just ignore it and die in the hands of your oppressor?

Its the same reason why police officers carry guns and defence forces exists.

You ought to read the conditions of war as prescribed in Islam too. Examples are, as much as possible, do not harm women or children, destory agriculture and livestocks etc.

The Scientific Fact:
History books tell us about a battle between the Persian and the Byzantine empires – the latter signifies the eastern part of the Roman Empire – which was located in the area between Adhra`at and Basra, near the Dead Sea. The battle, which occurred in 619 A.C., ended with the victory of the Persians.

The Romans received a severe blow in that battle and everyone at that time expected their kingdom to fall. Surprisingly, they were engaged in another battle in 627 A.C. in the area of Nineveh where they defeated the Persians and occupied many areas. Some months later, the Byzantines signed an agreement with the Persians according to which they returned all previously occupied areas.

Geographical atlases show that the lowest spot on the surface of the earth is the area near the Dead Sea where the surface of the earth is as low as 395 meters below sea level. Photos taken by satellites support this fact.

Facets of Scientific Inimitability:
There are two miracles in these verses; 1) the Ever-Glorious Qur’an gave glad tidings of victory to the Romans in a course of three to nine years. After seven years, the prophecy of the Ever-Glorious Qur’an came true. This Roman victory coincided with the victory of the Muslims in the Battle of Badr. To the Arab disbelievers, the victory of the Romans seemed impossible and they started mocking the Muslims and ridiculing them about these Qura’nic words. When the prophecy came true, they were disappointed and humbled.

2) They told us about a geographical fact that was not known to anyone at that time. The verses said that the Romans would lose the battle in the lowest area of land which means that it is the nearest place to the Arabian Peninsula and is the lowest spot on earth; it is 1,312 feet (around 400 meters) below sea level. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, satellites have recorded that it is indeed the lowest spot on earth. Historical facts testify that the battle took place at the lowest spot on earth; near to the Dead Sea. At that time, it was impossible for anyone to know this was the lowest area on earth. Does this not provide even more evidence that the Ever-Glorious Qur’an is the word of Allah?

Almighty Allah says: [And say [(O Muhammad) to these polytheists and pagans etc.]: All the praises and thanks be to Allah. He will show you His Ayat (signs, in yourselves, and in the universe or punishments, etc.), and you shall recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.] (An-Naml: 93)

Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) was the last prophet sent by Allah.

To understand why he was the last messenger, we need to first understand what exactly was the purpose behind sending any prophets by Allah.

1) The prophets, Jesus, Moses, Noah, Muhammad and the other prophets of Allah (peace be upon them all) were all sent with a single mission. The Mission was to remind the people of the reality of afterlife, to tell them about Allah, enjoin them to do good and teach them the religion of Allah.

2) Allah says, that a prophet was sent to every tribe/people and 5 books were revealed upon the prophets. However the books as we know were either fabricated or lost later on after the prophets. (eg: the Bible has no single version)

Now the point to note is that uptill now Allah says that each prophet was send to his or her own people.

3) Allah says, that Prophet Muhammad was sent as a messenger to the whole of mankind and jinnkind. Allah communicated the Quran through him to us.

NOW COMES THE ANSWER...

Prophet Muhammad taught the people everything about Islam all its fundamentals, rights, rites, salaah, etiquettes and other frameworks. Allah through Prophet Muhammad, revealed the Quran as the guidance for all men and Jinn.

PLUS, Allah himself has vouched that the Quran will be preserved till the end of time (judgement day)

NOW THE EXPLANATION:

Earlier all the prophets except Prophet Muhammad were sent mainly to their own people (Moses to people of Israel, etc). PLUS the instructions/books given to them were after their death either fabricated or lost.

Prophet Muhammad on the other hand was NOT sent to a particular community or nation or a group of people but to humanity at large. Secondly, the message revealed to him in the form of the Quran will be preserved till the end of time as promised by Allah.

Thus, the final reminder and everlasting message has been sent by Allah and Thus, there arise no need for further Prophets or instruction (books) to appear, since we have the final frameworks and instruction with Prophet Muhammad and the Quran.

The message of Islam has spread far and wide across all globe, some people revert to it some avert from it, nonetheless they have heard about it and are aware of Allah as the supreme deity. Whether they choose to accept it or not is their choice and is between them and Allah.

Thus to CONCLUDE, since all the conditions for sending the prophets have been fulfilled and the Quran will last till the end of time (judgement day).

Speaking from common sense of the above explanation there arises no need for sending anymore Prophets, they will have no mission left even if they are sent to earth.

The only thing left now is for us to take heed of the message of the QURAN.

5-- Christ was not crucified

This statement in the Bible is sufficient to prove that he was not crucified.

In order for him to be crucified, thick iron nails had to be driven through his hands and feet.

A. In John 19:36:

36 "For these things took place that the Scripture might be fulfilled: "Not one of his bones will be broken."

God raised Christ, peace be upon him, to heaven.

He protected him from the plots and scheming of the Jews, so they could not crucify him.

10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.

11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

(But at that very moment God will send the Messiah son of Mary who will descend at the white minaret in the east of Damascus wearing two garments dyed with saffron and placing his hands on the wings of two angels. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “By Allah, the son of Mary will descend as a just ruler. He will abolish the cross, kill the swine, and annul the tribute, but he will leave the she-camel such that no one collects from it. He will cause rancor, hatred, and envy to disappear, and he will call people to give their wealth in charity but no one will need it.”

1 - At the moment of the Roman soldiers' approaching crucifixion,

Christ withdrew to himself in the Garden of Gethsemane and prayed to God the Father.

He called upon Him and begged Him to save him from this ordeal.

From this, we can see that crucifixion

was not the true purpose of Christ's presence on earth.

Otherwise, He would have surrendered to crucifixion without resistance or seeking God's help.

(Luke 22:42):

(“Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me.”"

2 - None of Christ's followers were present at Christ's crucifixion,

except for a few women.

In fact, some accounts in the Gospels cast doubt on their presence there.

This doubt comes from Christian scholars themselves,

based on the testimony of witnesses. So what does it tell us?

They can't even agree on what Jesus was wearing, drinking, doing, or saying at the time of the crucifixion.

Matthew 27:28 tells us:

The Roman soldiers dressed Jesus in a scarlet robe.

(They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him..)

John 19:2 says:

(and dressed Him in a purple robe.)

Matthew 27:34 says:

(The Romans gave Jesus sour wine mixed with gall.)

Mark 15:23 says: (It was mixed with myrrh.)

Mark 15:25 tells us: (Jesus was crucified before the third hour.)

But John 19:14-15 says:

It was about the sixth hour.

Luke 23:46 says that Jesus' last words were "Father, into your hands I commend my spirit."

But John 19:30 says they were "It is finished!"

Now, wait a minute.

Jesus's righteous followers would have clung to his every word in his final days.

On the other hand, Mark 14:50 tells us that all the disciples left Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.
