1. The new road isn’t that thick in all sections, it changes according to elevation
2. The old road was definitely not built by just “hand an shovel” whatever that means
3. No, the life span of a concrete road is not 100 years. It may last up to 20years as compared to 10 years for asphalt roads.
4. The thickness of a concrete road doesn’t automatically translate to high quality. So many factors play into the actual quality and not just it’s thickness.

Because a lot of the raw materials for your phone and computer electronics are mined in the Congo and the instability in the area makes the price of the raw materials produced there rise and rise.
